the packaging and shaker. The lid likes to weep and once, yep, it sprayed powder all over my counter (and my shirt). Transferring powder from pouch to tin is a ritual of shame — there’s always a little cloud escaping no matter how careful I am. Small thing but annoying every day. Also, it’s pricey for two of us — £1,740 a year on subscription feels steep. I told my partner about it (he’s on board) and we’d love better rewards for sticking around, not just a free spoon now and then. Still, I keep buying — habit, hope, and it actually works enough for me.
Midnight math that actually works
not sickly sweet, actually kind of pleasant. I used the little frother they include because stirring with a spoon turned into a sandy mess. Yep, it clumps if you just stir. The frother helps a lot.
The moment I knew it was doing its job was oddly ordinary — I glanced at the clock after falling asleep and realized I hadn’t tossed and turned. Then I slept straight through until morning. That immediate feeling of “oh, this is working” is priceless. I used to take three separate things for sleep (Magtein, glycine, ashwagandha), so not having to juggle pills is convenient, and it saves time at night.
A bit of honesty: the packaging is the headache. Daily doses come in small paper tubes that fight you. Some open okay. Some don’t. When one tears wrong there’s a puff of powder everywhere. Countertop, shirt, floor — you name it. I found myself pinching and massaging the tube to get the rest out, which only spread more dust around. It feels unnecessary for a product that otherwise does its job.
Price-wise it’s on the higher side, but when I add up what I used to spend on three supplements, it’s in the same ballpark. So I’m not furious about cost; I just wish the packaging didn’t make mornings messier. Overall: solid results, simple routine, annoying packaging. If they fix the packets, I’d stick with it no question. For now, I’m happy with how I sleep, annoyed with the clean-up, and a little amused at how a tiny tube can ruin a perfectly good bedtime ritual.
