Wrist disc that actually stuck with me

I wasn't sure at first. A friend kept nagging, I signed up for the free trial mostly to shut them up. I needed something though — had years of low-level anxiety and a couple bad sleeps that never seemed to quit. The trial felt odd. I was skeptical about a little disc doing anything. Then I kept noticing less tension. Small at first, then consistent. I moved from the trial to three monthly subs, then a yearly plan, and finally the big, pricey Ultimate package. Yes it cost quite a bit. The disc sits just inside my left wrist now most of the week. I can tell when it's not there. It's not magic, but it quiets things. Relief, mostly practical and steady. Worth the try if you’re doubtful like I was.

Odd start, messy middle, small win at the end

billing was a mess and I thought it was a scam at first, but after a lot of back-and-forth I did get a partial fix and some clarity. So I'm cautious, not furious anymore, but still annoyed. I first heard about this product on the Rich Roll podcast and even told a buddy to try it — that’s how I got in. I tried it on a cheap trial of about $26.99 because why not. Then things went sideways.
I upgraded later when I realized the trial didn’t give me the full experience, which ended up costing another $286.10 over 2023–2024. That by itself was okay — I made that choice. The real issue started when I thought I had canceled. I was on the water a lot (I’m a boat captain), so the app’s requirement to be on Wi‑Fi overnight made much of it unusable for me. Features were greyed out unless connected, so I figured, fine, not for me, cancelled it. Emails from them stopped around March 2024 and I took that as confirmation.
Then, months later, on Nov 28–30, 2024, a renewal charge of $499.90 showed up out of nowhere. I did not authorize that. I immediately reached out to support within minutes of seeing the charge, deleted the app from all my devices, and kept asking for cancellation and a refund. They issued a partial refund of $175.91 on Dec 1, 2024, which I did not approve either, but that left an outstanding balance I expected them to cover. So I asked for the remaining $323.99 back to my Discover card ending in x6837, gave them ten days, and kept pushing.
My credit card company told me they couldn’t resolve it with the vendor and I was left disputing charges myself. All told I tracked $812.99 that changed hands for a product I rarely used and didn’t want for the last year. I accept I spent $313.09 trying it in 2023–2024 (trial plus upgrades) — that’s on me — but another $499.90 without explicit consent felt wrong. I kept records, emails, and attempted cancellations. I may have had two accounts (different emails) which made things messier — so part of this is also user error, or at least confusion.
They also logged something like 170 days of “use,” which Discover questioned. That number seems dubious unless something ran in the background. Regardless, whether it was used 0 days or 365 days doesn’t change the fact I believed it was canceled and I didn’t approve the renewal. I wrote to Rich Roll to explain why I was no longer recommending the product after my experience.
After persistent follow-up, the company did take some responsibility and refunded part of the disputed amount — not everything — which is why I’ve cooled down from calling it a total scam. Still, be careful: read the fine print on auto‑renewals, double-check which email you used, and if you depend on offline use (like being a captain on the water), verify the app actually works without overnight Wi‑Fi. My advice: proceed with caution.
