What bothered me most wasn't even the delay, since stock issues happen. It was finding out only after I asked that the USB-over-Ethernet extender wouldn't be available for weeks. I also paid expecting DHL Express, but the package seemed to go by regular mail instead, and the tracking stayed unchanged until I contacted them. To make things messier, my address wasn't entered correctly. Replies from support were hard to follow, so getting a refund adjustment took way more back-and-forth than it should have. They eventually offered compensation, but only after I mentioned escalating the issue. I'd look elsewhere unless you have plenty of patience.
My desk finally stopped looking like a wire nest
I bought the iDock C20 for my work-from-home setup, mostly because I was tired of unplugging stuff every time I switched laptops. Of course, my company-issued dinosaur laptop had other plans and wouldn’t play nice at first. Kevin from support got back to me fast, gave me two realistic options, and even linked the right adapters on Amazon. That was honestly more helpful than expected. Now everything switches smoothly, my desk looks way less chaotic, and I’m set if work ever gives me a newer laptop.
They Made a Bad Order Easy
Halfway through setting it up, I could already tell I’d picked the wrong device. Not ideal, especially after past returns with other companies turned into a whole mess. I contacted support expecting a basic answer, but Owen actually took time to look at my setup and explain why this unit wasn’t going to do what I needed. That was surprisingly helpful, even though it meant no sale for them. Then Locky handled the return without making me chase updates or repeat everything. I needed this unit for a home office setup after my old switch started acting like it had a personal grudge against my monitors, so I chose the pricier option because it said shipping was free and import duty was handled at checkout. Then, after they took payment, I was told shipping had cost them more than expected and the duty was suddenly my problem. The item did arrive, but I had to pay import charges again when it reached the UK. That was the surprising part—in a bad way. Shipping costs can change, sure, but changing what I’m paying after checkout feels really off.
