Not a total fail but definitely not what I hoped. I saw these rare issues at my local comic shop and even told a friend to grab a copy, so getting damaged ones was a bummer. I reached out to Skybound asking about replacements — these things are practically unobtainable — and got a canned ChatGPT-style reply that concluded with "we will close this ticket for now." Polite, but cold. I know it's not entirely their fault, still, more guidance would help.
Clem got me good
it wrecked me, in the best way. I first saw the finale while crashing at my sister's place — she put it on because her boyfriend wouldn't stop raving, and I didn't expect to cry and then laugh in the same scene. Clem's moments hit so hard I was sniffling for days, but there was this tiny, dumb joke that made me giggle out loud, which surprised me. I keep telling people about it, and honestly I feel grateful — messy, emotional, and oddly relieved too.
Empty doorstep, happy ending
the cards have weight, the pieces snap together nicely, the board isn't flimsy, and the rule sheet is easy to skim. I started skeptical but, once it showed up, it played well and we had real laughs.
Faster than I dared hope
delivery was the standout — quicker than the site suggested and no surprise customs fees at my door, looks like those were sorted at checkout. The items arrived intact, nothing damaged, and the Clementine hat actually looks nicer in person than in the photos. Customer support answered my question quickly and without fuss. Small annoyance: that initial quiet period in tracking had me checking the page too much, but nothing major. I’ve already told a friend where I bought it, and I’d order again if the price stays similar.
A story that stayed with me
a couple scenes felt rushed, like the pacing hurried at times to wrap things up, and I would have gladly traded a few action set pieces for more quiet, connective scenes. Still, the production, voice work and direction were excellent — very cinematic but intimate. Overall, this chapter changed how I think about narrative games and stuck with me during normal, sleepy nights at home and tossed-in moments during the day. If you want something that isn’t just about survival but about the next steps after surviving, this one will stay with you. And yeah, I’d happily follow these characters if they came back for another season.
Missing Figure, Two Months Silence
it's on my BackerKit, in my confirmation email, and I paid for it. I sent multiple messages over two months and got nothing. Disappointing and way harder than it needed to be.
