Positive Experience with Crowd Street's Online Platform
I am a client of Crowd Street and I have had a great experience with the company. Their online platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The process of investing in real estate through their platform is seamless and straightforward. The team at Crowd Street is also very responsive and helpful whenever I have had any questions or concerns.
Additionally, I appreciate the level of transparency and information provided about the properties available for investment. This allows me to make informed decisions and feel confident in my investments. My experience with the real estate investment platform has been pretty good overall, but there are a couple areas that could use some fixing. The first thing that would be helpful is if they added an option to keep money in a pre-paid account so that deals could get funded faster. Also, I think it would be better if they didn't let you click on "INVEST NOW" until after the presenters finish their presentation, that way we could make smarter decisions. It would also be nice if all the standard paperwork could be filled out when you list without slowing down the funding process. Lastly, they should stop asking for documents that they already have, like company formation details.
Private equity deals
Don't just trust the website's filters; make sure to do your own research on sponsors, track records, and offerings to be fully informed before making a decision. Keep in mind, the risk falls on you.
Real estate investment
Everything was going well until the funding took much longer than expected. I was really disappointed with how long it was taking, especially since there were promises made before I invested. It was a real bummer having to deal with state K1s after being told that wouldn't be necessary.
Investments
I've been having a tough time finding good investment chances on this platform. It seems like there's a lot of interest and not enough options. I've put my money into 12 different deals in different places and assets. So far, they've been doing okay, but none of them have been really successful. A few are even running into problems.

As a customer of Crowdstreet, I've bought a bunch of real estate projects in the last year. At first, I had to figure things out, but it's gotten better with time. Still, I think the webinar moderators could step it up by being more professional and business-focused.
