Real estate investments
I usually use a different website for investing, but I thought I'd give this one a try because the deals seemed really interesting. When I tried to send my money, they wouldn't let me do it by myself because, I guess, I didn't meet their fancy requirements or something. I tried reaching out by phone, email, and chat, but nobody responded to me. Now I'm worried that if I do invest with them, they won't be there to help if something goes wrong. I've decided to just forget it and move on.
Misleading investment opportunities
Charles Schwab provides a range of investment options from various companies, but doesn't always share all the details about future investment restrictions. This lack of transparency makes you wonder about their true intentions and honesty. Be careful if you're thinking about investing through Charles Schwab.
Account Troubles
I really don't recommend investing with this company. I've been trying to get into my account for over a week now and I haven't had any luck at all. It's so frustrating not being able to log in, especially with tax season coming up. I've tried contacting them multiple times by phone and email, but no one has gotten back to me. It's just not professional at all and it really makes me wonder about this company's financial stability.

I get why people like the idea of putting money into real estate through Crowdstreet, but my own experience hasn't been good. I put a lot of money in, and unfortunately, some of the sponsors didn't come through like they said they would. One sponsor I trusted ended up losing me $10,000. I know times are tough right now because of things like COVID-19, so it's not a huge shock if investments don't go as planned. But what really bothers me is that Crowdstreet seems to lack good management and direction, leading to the problems I've faced. With a decent chunk of my money tied up in real estate stocks, I can't ignore the issues I've had with Crowdstreet.
High investment, lack of transparency
After putting in a good chunk of money, I realized that a lot of the deals weren't what they seemed and the platform hardly ever kept us in the loop. Investors like us are left clueless with no updates on where our money is going, which is super frustrating and nerve-wracking. It's just sad to see a platform handling big bucks not being upfront or responsible.

My experience with the real estate investment platform has been pretty good overall, but there are a couple areas that could use some fixing. The first thing that would be helpful is if they added an option to keep money in a pre-paid account so that deals could get funded faster. Also, I think it would be better if they didn't let you click on "INVEST NOW" until after the presenters finish their presentation, that way we could make smarter decisions. It would also be nice if all the standard paperwork could be filled out when you list without slowing down the funding process. Lastly, they should stop asking for documents that they already have, like company formation details.
Multiple Investments
I've invested in a few things using this platform and for the most part, it's been good. But one investment I made in OC-Ventures.com for XChicago Student Housing ended up being a scam. It's been since August 2022 and I still haven't gotten my money back since the deal fell through. I tried reaching out to Crowdstreet for help, but they haven't been very useful in fixing the problem. It's frustrating that they didn't do a better job checking out this sponsor before allowing them on the platform. Not being able to call customer service is also a worry, since emailing them hasn't been helpful.

I was really hopeful about this platform at first, but I ended up being pretty disappointed with the customer service. It seems like they got too big and forgot that investors are the ones who support them. Some of the investments I made were not good, with operators who didn't follow through, and Crowdstreet didn't really take responsibility. It's disappointing because I thought they had a lot of potential, but now I wouldn't trust them at all. After investing over a million dollars with them, I've moved my money to more trustworthy options.

I've been a customer on this platform for a while now, and I gotta say, my experience with real estate investment through Crowdstreet hasn't been great. They're quick to get money from us investors, but once we've invested, they kinda drop the ball on transparency and keeping us in the loop. I've put my money into 7 projects over the last four years, and sadly, none of them have paid off. Actually, two of the projects needed more money from investors, and that wasn't really explained to us beforehand.

After years of looking for the best way to boost my retirement savings, I thought I found the perfect platform. But then, it turned out my money was mysteriously disappearing from my account. Thankfully, I reached out to a customer service rep named "Calmo" who helped me recover my missing funds and gave me advice on making smarter investments. I'm so happy to have my retirement savings safe again and thankful for all the help I got.
Investment in Link Apartments
I recently put a lot of money into Link Apartments with the Post Investment Group. They said I would get updates and reports every quarter on how they were fixing up about 200 apartments. But those reports haven't been very detailed or complete. Now they're saying they might not even use the money for what they said it was for, and they're not giving me a clear reason why or what they're going to do instead. I've tried asking for more information, but I haven't gotten any straight answers. This whole lack of communication and honesty has made me feel like I've been tricked and I'm feeling really bad about putting my money into this investment.

I've invested in different real estate opportunities through this platform, but, to be honest, I've been pretty disappointed. The reports sponsors give us every quarter don't really tell us much, so it's hard to know how well our investments are doing. And it's a bit worrisome how they don't really tell us much about when they need more money or how they plan to pay us back. I think Crowdstreet isn't really taking care of us investors like they should, and they're not really holding sponsors accountable for what they do. If you're thinking about investing through Crowdstreet, I'd say be careful.
Crowdstreet sucks
This platform is just awful! They didn't even bother to check out the sponsors properly, and one of them, Tapestry, caused a huge mess. They haven't owned up to it and now they won't even communicate with us. I swear, I'm done with this site for good!

I've been keeping an eye on real estate investment opportunities on this platform for a while, and I've gotta say, finding good deals is tough. Whenever a good deal pops up, it seems like everyone jumps on it super fast, and then I'm left on a waitlist trying to rush and get all the paperwork done. I totally agree with another reviewer who mentioned that there should be a set deadline, like 24 hours, to submit documents. It would make things way easier for investors and help improve customer relations.

I've been investing on Crowdstreet since 2018 and have had multiple successful deals. However, recently I had a bad experience with a deal where the sponsor misused investors' funds. Even though there were clear signs of trouble with the sponsor, Crowdstreet didn't really do anything about it and only gave a small settlement that didn't even come close to covering all the losses. Their lack of accountability and failure to do proper due diligence is worrying and has definitely made me think twice about using the platform in the future. I would suggest looking elsewhere for investment opportunities instead of using Crowdstreet.
Mixed success with investments
I've had some ups and downs with my investments on this platform. Federal Self Storage and RREAF Holdings have been awesome, giving me returns of 12-15% annually. But the other 4 investments I made have been a bust. The customer service is seriously lacking, with nobody answering questions or calls after they have your money. So, based on my own experience, I'd suggest avoiding this crowdfunding site. Instead, I've had better luck with companies like Fundrise and Realty Mogul – they're more reliable with returns and communication.

Everything was going well until the funding took much longer than expected. I was really disappointed with how long it was taking, especially since there were promises made before I invested. It was a real bummer having to deal with state K1s after being told that wouldn't be necessary.
