I felt relieved the minute the replacement bottle smelled like the old stuff — that was the moment I knew this would be okay. I’ve used this D3 10,000 brand for years through my naturopath, and when they ran out I grabbed a bottle from Amazon's Pattern Direct. First three opens of that initial bottle hit me with this embalming-ish floral scent and the caps looked off, which had me worried. I called Metagenics on 2/13/24, talked to Lauren, and after a bit of waiting they actually called back, explained there'd been a supplier mix-up, and mailed a replacement. The new bottle matched my old supply — same color, same mild supplement smell — and that’s when I relaxed. Happy it got sorted. If you see weird caps or a strong perfume smell, reach out, check your batch number, and ask for a swap. Might save you stress.
Seeing is believing
service could be quicker and the price feels slightly premium. Still, the results matter most to me. Also the flavor of any chewables was mild and not medicinal, which is rare. Also, the delivery packaging was neat and not wasteful, which I appreciated. Started doubtful. Ended up recommending them to a handful of patients. I’ll keep using them.
