Business loan experience
My experience with the lending agent was pretty good overall. I really liked being able to talk to someone directly and get my questions answered quickly. But, there were a few things that made me a bit anxious during the whole thing. There was some confusion about which appraiser to contact, so there were some delays and extra back and forth. Also, even after I uploaded all the documents I was asked for, I kept getting asked for the same ones multiple times, which was annoying and took up a lot of my time. The closing was supposed to be at 2PM, but the approval process ended up taking longer than expected, causing even more delays. It felt like there wasn't great communication and coordination within the company, which made everything way more stressful than it had to be.
Refinance mortgage
The terms we first talked about and wrote in the term sheet ended up being different as things moved along. They unexpectedly changed the amount and interest rate without giving me a heads up, even though my appraisal came back higher than we thought. Plus, they surprised me by saying I had to set up automatic payments at the end, which they never mentioned before. It all made me feel like I was working with a regular bank, with way too many surprises thrown in.
Refinancing loan process
Working with Joe Desalvo and Amra was so easy. They were great at keeping in touch and always got back to me quickly, which made refinancing really smooth. I thought communication with everyone involved was great, which made things go smoothly. However, I was let down when the specials from May weren't honored. It's really important for businesses to keep their advertised deals to keep customers happy. Even though that happened, I still think the staff did a good job overall. In the future, I hope they focus on being clear and accurate in their promotions to avoid any more mix-ups with customers.

New Silver is a solid company, but they should really think about offering full financing or payment plans with no interest to keep clients coming back. Developers shouldn't have to shell out their own money to seal the deal. If New Silver can incorporate everything into the agreement and delay interest payments until the property sells, that would definitely ensure developer loyalty. I might start looking into other lenders who provide these kinds of perks.
