Not what the photos promised April 22, 2026

some strands stayed a normal brown, others went a grayish-brown, and several patches turned slightly blue-ish. It’s weird and uneven, honestly. Also, it stained everything it touched — my sheets, my robe, the comb, even my phone case and fingers. I tried to be careful but you can’t really scratch your head without leaving blue-ish marks on your nails and gloves. There was some scalp itching too, not terrible but noticeable around the hairline.
I get that it’s marketed as natural/vegan/etc., but that doesn’t explain the unpredictable tones. If you only have a few grays it might be okay, maybe even good, but if you have lots of highlighted or thicker gray patches, expect uneven results. I wish the site allowed photo uploads — I have before-and-after photos that show exactly what I mean (they’d be useful to see on the product page). That would add real credibility instead of the curated shots they show now.
All in all, I’m on the fence — the product isn’t awful in application, but the outcome and staining make me hesitant to buy again. If you try it, test on a small section first and be prepared for surprises. I’ll check back after a few washes and post an update.
