Anyway, when the money showed up I felt genuinely relieved and a bit grateful it ended up sorted. It shouldn’t have taken so long — a single confirmation email or a tracking note would’ve calmed me down ages ago. If you’re returning something here, keep your own proof of postage and be ready to chase them; it helped me finally get movement. Overall happy it worked out, just wish the communication had been better from the start.

And if the Hue app ever acts flaky on Android, clearing the app cache helped me get it back to normal a couple times.     Router change ruined my Hue setup

    swapped in a new router and suddenly my Hue Bridge Pro started acting up. It used to be on Wi‑Fi and play nice with Apple HomeKit; now it won't even search for networks and I had to wire it in. That’s only the start. The Bridge will connect to HomeKit for ten minutes, then drop out, over and over. The Hue app itself gets sluggish, freezes, or restarts — which is oddly stressful when lights decide to turn on in other rooms or just stop responding. I’ve had scenes fail, switches trigger the wrong lights, and once I even had to kill power at the breaker to stop something. Support, sadly, has been the slow part: a week of “we’ll get back in a few days,” then another week of the same. They’re friendly but not helpful so far. If there’s one thing to call out: the support response time and lack of a real fix is the biggest issue. If you’re thinking of buying, consider waiting for firmware updates or make sure you can return it — I wish I’d tested more before switching routers. Emotionally, it’s been annoying — I like smart home stuff when it just works. Hoping they patch this soon, otherwise I’ll be moving away from this ecosystem.
