Finally usable, but annoyed
I first saw these patterns on a friend's feed and told her to check them out. At first I was pumped, bought two and then noticed I was overcharged. I emailed Makerist and heard nothing back. One pattern had missing steps, so I messaged the designer. She sent a sloppy diagram that didn't help. After a second annoyed message she finally sent fixed instructions. The moment I could actually follow it felt like relief, but I'm still frustrated and hesitant to buy again.
Cool pattern, annoying print hurdle
the file uses layered PDFs that need Adobe's paid feature to print. The listing says Adobe is free to download — true, but the layer-printing tool isn't. Kinda annoying, though the pattern itself looked great and printed fine after a short trial.
