Purse with fake leather
The purse I bought was supposed to be super fancy with real leather, but when I got it, it was totally fake! I took it back to the store it was supposed to be from, and they confirmed it was a scam. When I tried to return it, the customer service folks were not helpful at all. They made me feel like I was the one in the wrong for thinking the purse would be real. Plus, they made me pay to ship it back, and didn't even refund the original shipping costs. It was such a pain just to get my money back.
Outdoor material purchase
I bought outdoor fabric for my patio furniture and it got all moldy in only six months! My old fabric lasted 12 years without any mold issues. I thought I was making an improvement, but I basically just threw away $1,000 on 13 yards of fabric. It was a really bad experience!
Home sewing and crafting items
As someone who loves to sew and craft at home, I have to say that ordering fabric online from this site has been awesome. New clothes for school
OMG, I ordered some new clothes for school and it was seriously the worst experience ever! I asked the company about my order and they totally gave me attitude, saying it hasn't even been a week since I ordered. Like, hellooooo, I can count! But to top it off, they still didn't give me any details. I spent all my allowance, $200, and now I'm really worried I won't get my cute clothes or my money back. Ugh, never ordering from them again! ?
Fabric for my art project
I ordered some fabric online for my art project, but it never showed up! I've been emailing them, but all they say is to wait a little longer. I'm so frustrated! I think I'm going to ask for a refund and warn everyone not to buy from them!
Cool fabric
I recently ordered some fabric online and thought it was super cool. But guess what? The very next day, I found it for a way cheaper price at another store! So I reached out to customer service, hoping for a little help or maybe a discount. But man, they were not cool at all. They didn't even try to hook me up. Come on now, show a little love! I've decided to return the fabric and look for a new spot to get my fabric fix. Ugh, not cool at all!
4 yards of material
I bought 4 yards of material recently and had a really frustrating experience. The website said they had it in stock, so I went ahead and placed my order. But then, after they charged my card, they told me it was actually out of stock and they had to cancel my order. It's been a week now and I still haven't gotten my refund. And to top it all off, the website still says they have the 4 yards available. This lack of honesty and communication is totally not okay, and I'm really let down by the whole service.
Misleading measurements received
This company really needs to step up their game when it comes to cutting fabric! I've ordered from them several times now, and every single time I get fabric that's just all wrong. If I'm buying a yard, I want a full yard - not some funky diagonal cut that's shorter than it's supposed to be. It's super annoying to spend my hard-earned cash on fabric that I can't even use because of the inaccurate cuts. So, please, for the love of fabric, get your act together and start giving us the right measurements!
Misleading fabric pattern
I was kinda bummed about the fabric I ordered online, but I gotta say, the customer service totally made up for it. The pattern looked way bigger in the pictures, so when I got it, I wasn't happy. I contacted customer service to ask about sending it back, and they were super quick in giving me a refund. They handled it all so smoothly and professionally. It made sending it back a breeze.
Fabric for a sewing project
This company is a mess. The manager is a total creep who preys on young employees. I wouldn't recommend supporting a business that allows that kind of behavior. The way they treat their employees is awful - always threatening to fire them, making them work extra hours, and even manipulating them into inappropriate situations. It's just not right. This company has no values or ethics. I suggest taking your business elsewhere.
Recent fabric purchase
I'm so done with this place! I've made three orders in the last two months and every single one has had an issue. The first time, I ordered some fabric and then got told a week later that it was out of stock. So annoying! Fine, I thought, let's reorder - but then they had the nerve to try and charge me more for it! No way, not doing that. The next time, I finally got my order, only to realize they had conveniently forgotten to include 3 and a half yards of the main fabric. Are you kidding me? And now, my third order has been "processing" for a week. They said it would ship out 4 days ago, but surprise, surprise - it hasn't. At this point, I'm not even shocked.
Ordered cool fabric for sewing project
I got this fabric for a sewing project and man, the colors were amazing! They were even more vibrant than I thought, totally made my day. Plus, working with the fabric was a breeze, no issues whatsoever. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and I'm pumped to jump into my next project with this awesome fabric! Fabric for small business
I've been shopping at this store regularly for my small business, and even though the fabric is top-notch, getting a refund for returned items has been a nightmare. The company promises refunds within 5-7 days, but I've been waiting for 5-8 weeks without any solution in sight. The customer service reps are nice and always say they'll push my requests up the chain, but nothing ever happens. It's really frustrating to be out both the fabric and the cash, especially on a tight budget as a small business owner. I'd suggest others to watch out for this problem.
Outdoor material purchase
I just bought some new fabric for my outdoor furniture, thinking it would be an upgrade from the old stuff that lasted me over a decade with no problems. But after only six months, I started noticing mold growing on it. Super disheartening, especially since I paid a good chunk of change to get those cushions redone and the fabric was supposed to be for outdoor use. Fabric purchases, affordable deals
This store is my favorite place to go when I need fabric. The prices are way better than any other store I've been to, even that one that everyone talks about that starts with a 'J'. Plus, the shipping costs are hard to beat. They have a huge selection of fabrics, and I've found some really unique ones for my dressmaking projects. The quality is always top-notch. I love that they have coupons for a percentage off on every order. I've heard their warehouse is in Georgia, which must be why my orders get to me so fast.
Bolt of white cotton fabric
I just bought some white cotton fabric from that store, but man, was I bummed when I saw the condition it arrived in. It was all jumbled up and squished, totally not what I was hoping for. It's basically useless for the project I had in mind. And to top it off, I'm starting to think it might not even be the brand they promised.
Shopping experience
I had a really terrible time at that store not too long ago. The security guys were really harsh and ended up hurting my friend and me. It was a really awful and unnecessary situation that made us feel violated and scared. I can't believe that kind of behavior is still okay these days.
Recent fabric purchase
I recently bought stuff from this fabric store and I gotta say, I was pretty let down by the whole thing. They got a great selection of fabrics, that's for sure, but that's pretty much where the good stuff ends. I kept ordering fabrics that were supposedly in stock, only to find out later they weren't. Super frustrating and feels like a lie. Their customer service is a big disappointment too. When something goes wrong, they don't seem to care one bit. They messed up my order and I had to pay way too much in shipping – almost triple the cost of the fabric itself. When I complained, all they offered was a ten dollar discount, which barely made a dent in the pricey shipping fee. And don't even get me started on their slow response time – it took them three weeks to get back to me. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

In regards to sizing, I live in Europe and I am usually wearing size M which will be quite loose, but not too loose. With Soulmia I have found that I could easily go with size S, next time I'll order S instead of M, that's for sure.
