Funny thing, I never expected to be stuck dealing with an assistance line on a family trip, but here we are. Mid-morning I rang to get urgent care set up for my son after he got sick away from home. They didn't give a clear plan and we ended up waiting more than a day with only vague answers. Every follow-up call sounded the same — they're busy, someone will call back — and we did most of the legwork asking where to go. At one point they suggested we pay up front and sort the refund later, which was frustrating and felt like being pushed off. Eventually we did get to a clinic and he was treated, so it wasn't useless, but the process was slow and sloppy. Won't be counting on them unless I have no other choice.
Cold coffee and a patient pro
group policies, fine print, who has time? Jimmy spent nearly two hours on the phone walking through everything, patiently repeating details, fixing my misunderstandings. He never rushed me, checked each traveler, pointed out gaps I hadn’t noticed, and somehow made it manageable. My doubts faded; I actually felt relieved. Oh, and the price was fair enough — not cheap but reasonable. We’ll stay in touch, for sure.
Balloon-arm blues on the road
the doubts didn't really go away, they just changed shape.
I booked a cheap one-way home the same day (like, under what airlines charged) because I knew I couldn’t keep going. Got home, got x-rays, found out I didn’t actually break anything (thankfully), and filed a claim to get that airfare back since the policy was supposed to cover that. I even sent photos of my swollen arms and my doctor’s notes. For a while everything seemed fine — they handled the local doctor bills without me having to fight — so I thought maybe this would be different. But after a month or two the claim for the flight was denied. Their reason? I hadn’t used their recommended doctors where the injury happened. Even though I’d saved them money overall (no ER overseas, cheap flight, local docs here), they stuck to the letter.
So yeah, it’s a mix: buying and basic support were straightforward, and they handled some medical stuff ok, but claims can get blocked on technicalities. I’ll use other insurers next time (had a much better experience with AON on another trip), but if you’re buying this kind of policy, go in knowing the fine print and keep receipts, photos, and patience.Regretful, but true
I hesitated before buying; used it right away, still disappointed.
Quiet win
Spotted it on a friend’s feed, kind of skeptical at first — actually really solid, told my sister, told a friend again.
Tried after a tip
Friend tipped — delivery quick, service helpful, glad.
Quick but kinda messy
Found info fast, wish the layout clearer

Unexpected clarity
Was skeptical, but when it fit into my morning routine I felt relieved, actually.
Delivery doubts, ended up fine
Wasn't sure at first, delivery was slow but customer service sorted it, really glad.
Solid, slightly firm
Needed a chair after cheap ones broke; feels supportive, a bit firm, but really helps my back.
Timely help during move
I was moving and needed coverage fast, so I called. Jimmy handled the paperwork, answered silly questions, and the policy documents arrived on time. Delivery and the customer service made the difference — calm, efficient, and actually helpful.
Handy help, slow delivery
Using it daily—Jimmy explained everything, really helpful, but delivery was slower than I hoped.
Booked with doubts
I was packing for a risky trip after my last claim turned into a mess. I asked Jimmy and I was skeptical at first. The policy felt straightforward and simple to use. Quick replies, I go back.
Mostly helpful and practical
Needed a new policy after a messy claim and a recent move. Jimmie was patient and called back like he'd promised. He walked me through what’s covered and how to use the online docs. Policy feels solid and practical. A couple small fees were unclear, but it works.
