Filing a claim because my trip got cancelled was pretty easy. I filled out the claim form and got all the right documents without any problems. I liked being able to email them for any info I needed. But it was a bummer that they didn't keep me in the loop during the review. It would have been nice to get updates every week on how things were going. Even with that though, they ended up covering my claim in full and the money was quickly deposited right into my bank account.

I got travel insurance and thankfully didn't have to use it because my friend got sick and we had to cancel our trip. I heard my roommate got a different travel insurance and has been waiting for a refund for 6 months now! I mean, seriously? What's the deal with that? I wouldn't recommend this company if you care about keeping in touch. It took them forever to pay up, all while staying quiet for months. In today's world, it should be a no-brainer that companies are open and communicative. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. AIG and Chubb, on the other hand, have no problem keeping their customers informed.
