car handed over on empty (gauge in the red) and I had to limp to a garage, then ring customer service to figure out where the fuel cap release was. Kinda annoying, felt like they forgot that bit. Still, the repair surprised me.
Mostly smooth repair
Had doubts about handing my daily commuter to the shop and the claim getting messy. Markerstudy and the bodyshop kept me in the loop, fixed the panels well (tiny paint mismatch) and it’s fine for school runs and work—took a bit longer, but solid.
Repair's great, claim still pending
I'm happy with the repair — the car drives like new and some bits actually look better than I expected — but I can't give five stars yet because the claim isn't finished. I use this car every day for work and errands, so the quality mattered. Booking took about four weeks and the paperwork from the insurer was a bit confusing, meant I had to call a few times. Still, the shop did a solid job and I'm hopeful the claim settles soon.
Solid fix, slow timing
Overall I’m glad I chose them — the repair came out really well, that’s the main thing. I needed the shop because my car had been acting up and, being disabled, I can’t mess around with dodgy repairs. I’d also had a previous place botch a job, so I wanted it done right. I booked on Jan 7 but they couldn’t fit me in until Jan 29, and the finish date slipped from Feb 16 to Feb 20 via text. That drag was annoying. The courtesy car was much smaller and getting in and out was awkward; I mentioned swapping it and they said they’d try, but it didn’t happen. Staff were polite on the phone and the price felt fair. Happy with the result, just expect delays.
Small win after a messy start
my car got vandalized and I was dreading the whole claims thing because I’d had a rough run with insurers before. Weirdly, their delivery of a courtesy car was faster than I expected — that actually saved me, honestly. The repairs were a bit chaotic at first; they used third-party shops and there were a few mix-ups where my car got moved around more than it should have. Still, the customer service people were on it: one rep called me back multiple times, arranged inspections, and pushed for clearer timelines. I was pleasantly surprised that someone actually followed up after the claim closed to make sure things were okay. It wasn’t perfect — there were delays and a couple of awkward handoffs — but between the quick temporary car and the reps who kept checking in, I felt looked after. Would I use them again? Probably, especially if delivery and a human voice on the phone matter to you.
