    I really like the idea of this canopy humidifier, but getting it was a total headache. I first saw it on a friend's recommendation and was excited enough to order right away. Problem is, the package never showed up. I kept messaging customer support and it felt like talking to a bot — kept being told to wait, wait. When someone finally replied after I filed a missing-mail search, they admitted the package was lost and told me to file a lost-mail claim... which I had already done. They said they'd "take care of" me after the search, but a month and a half later I'm still empty-handed. To top it off they tried to charge me for a filter subscription I signed up for with the order, so I had to do a chargeback. One agent even said they couldn't call the post office because "they don't have a phone" — huh? So, not perfect at all, but the product concept seems solid and I'm still hoping they'll sort it out.

First night I tried the diffuser and it hit me with this strong plastic-ish smell, like the toy aisle at a discount store. I gave it time because the company said it would fade, but weeks later it was still loud and annoying, drowning out the actual scents I wanted. Not great for chill evenings.
    The humidifier worked fine at first — ran for a few weeks like it was supposed to — then one morning there was water everywhere, like it decided to leak on purpose. I tried to be patient: followed their instructions, let it sit, let it dry, disassembled and dried what I could. It still had condensation tucked into places I couldn’t reach. Their response was kind of a shrug: they offered an exchange instead of calling it a defect and told me to let it dry fully between uses. Which, fine, except I wanted something I could run nightly without torturing it. Seems like a design flaw, honestly.
    I hadn’t installed the showerhead yet because my current unit’s filter was still fine, but when I pulled the main piece out I tried to pop the face off like the instructions said and it did not budge. If the face won’t come off, changing the filter later will be a pain, if possible at all. That made me not even open the handheld box. So my initial enthusiasm dwindled into suspicion pretty fast.
    On the plus side, when I asked about returns they did let me send everything back, which I appreciated. I sent two packages via UPS and one via USPS; tracking shows they received them, but after several days to a week I only saw one refund. The communication about the other two returns was pretty weak — no clear updates, no explanation why refunds seemed inconsistent. That’s frustrating and made me lower my opinion of their customer follow-through.
    So yeah, the products themselves felt under-designed in places, and customer communications left something to be desired. I’ll give them credit for accepting returns, but between the lingering smells, the leaking humidifier, and the showerhead issue, I wouldn’t rave about them. Maybe they’ll improve the designs, because the idea is nice; execution needs work.

    Mold showed up, support shrank back

    I wouldn’t buy another one. I backed the brand early and ordered two units from Sephora, followed every care step, and still found mold in both. I sent photos and even offered to send them back for inspection, but without a Sephora receipt (they purge orders after two years) Canopy refused a full replacement — only 50% off new ones. For something that could affect young kids’ breathing that offer felt inadequate. Service came off curt and unhelpful. Devices worked otherwise, so not a total loss, but I’d keep proof of purchase and be cautious.
