sturdy pages, decent paper, colors pop and it sits on the shelf like a small coffee-table memory. Trouble is, the web editor is weird and they deleted my work after six months of inactivity without a heads-up. So yeah, the final product is pleasant to hold, but getting there felt like juggling a temperamental app. I should’ve backed it up, my bad, but a warning email would have helped. I’ll probably use a different workflow next time, or a different company, even though I liked the actual book. Mostly useful, a little frustrating, and definitely not foolproof.
Post-move photobook
I wanted a decent photobook after our move — boxes everywhere, needed something to gather the memories, and my back was killing me so I couldn't sort through albums. The site was straightforward, took me through layout without fuss, and the print quality surprised me. Colors are sharp, really, the vibrancy stood out on multiple pages. Binding feels solid. Not much wrong to say; maybe shipping could be faster, but overall it did what I needed and I’ll use them again.
Coupon Tetris and a Checkout That Loses Pieces
split orders early, and maybe prepare for finger cramps from typing. On the plus side, the actual book-building program is fine — just fiddly when you’re aligning stuff (snap-to-grid is picky). In the end I got what I needed and felt a tiny bit smug, but not without a lot of unnecessary hassle. I’d love a clearer coupon UI and proper duplicate-coupon handling so I don’t have to play admin for my checkout next time.
