the disappearing credits stuck with me. Losing something you paid for breeds mistrust fast. Still, once I stopped, dug into settings and watched billing closely, I felt more in control and less likely to get hit by surprise charges. No heroic customer service saved me here — I didn’t get that — but the site does let you cancel and turn off renewals if you look for it. So I’m skeptical and annoyed, but also a bit relieved I caught it before it cost more. Bottom line: helpful when used carefully, but don’t assume anything labeled "one-time" actually is. Check the billing, monitor your account, and don’t click updates on autopilot.
Long run, short patience
class assignments, tutorial videos, a couple of short music clips, some work demos — nothing too exotic. I liked that it was reachable for someone who wasn’t a pro. But recent updates seem to have piled on features and bugs instead of stability. It feels bloated. My lifetime license hasn’t kept up with the product’s direction. I’m moving my active projects elsewhere. I’ll uninstall this soon. I even tried to report the crash but couldn’t get the bug reporting to work because the app wouldn’t stay responsive long enough. So I lost time twice: the hang itself and the chance to send feedback. There’s some mild regret — I did invest years and used it a lot — but mostly it’s practical annoyance. Maybe if you have a crazy high-end setup you can make it behave, but for normal editing rigs that are actually decent, it’s unreliable. If you’re just starting out and looking for something that works on low-end machines, this used to be the pick. Not anymore. For anyone evaluating it now: weigh the feature list against the stability. Features are nice, but if the program freezes during routine tasks, the rest doesn’t help. I’d recommend trying alternatives before moving your current work into this ecosystem. It’s a useful reminder that long-term use doesn’t mean you should be loyal when the tool stops doing the basics well.
Got a box
Delivery smooth, support friendly
Quiet skeptic
Bought skeptical, back relieved
Halfway there
Delivery slow, rep called
Pretty nice
Tried it last week — first impression was “oh, this is slick”, then, well, a tiny fit hiccup showed up but it still works really well overall.
Surprisingly good, no regrets
Totally worth it, skeptical, helped move
Unexpected thumbs-up
Needed for move, skeptical—now relieved.
Boxes finally aligned
When the movers fit last box, relief.
Odd little rescue
Delivery was lateish, support fixed it — grateful.
Not flashy, but practical
Works well, saw it in staff room, colleagues noted quirks.
Pretty useful, could polish
Edits feel smooth, some glitches.
Pretty handy, actually
Loved it instantly — super simple; saw it at work, told Sam, and, uh, the newbie figured it out, surprisingly.
Midnight edits
was just splicing clips at midnight, Filmora's easy drag-and-drop recently surprised me, beats other clunky apps
Solid pick
Really happy — saw it on Instagram, tipped my sister, surprised.
Late-night surprise
Opened it late-night — app crashed, but support replied fast and delivery was shockingly quick.
Buyer beware, sorta
Don't trust it — saw a friend's link, told a buddy; they added a $20 plan and won't refund, annoying but it works.
Saved my clip
I stumbled on it from a friend's tip. First edit looked great, no fuss, I was relieved and happy.
Solid but could be smoother
Works well overall, glad it helped. Plenty of editing tools and decent compression, could be smoother.
Daily little win
Love it, very easy. I use it daily for quick social posts and meeting prep—tons of visual effects, so glad.
