I saw this item on Instagram and a coworker suggested it, so I ordered. The product itself is fine. Feels solid and matches the description. Problem was the sizing. I ordered the wrong size and asked about returning it before it arrived. They said okay, ship it back at my expense. Fine. I then ordered the right size. When the first package arrived, they offered me $30 or $50 to keep it and to 'ask a friend' instead of doing a full $200 refund. That was the start of a long back-and-forth. Two months later I'm still trying to get the full refund. It's frustrating because I actually like the item. I wish they handled returns more straightforwardly soon.
Nice at first, then meh
Pulled it out of the box and thought, hey, not bad. It arrived fast and looked nicer than the photos. We started using it last week while finishing an outdoor run, so this is a short-term setup. Assembly was simple and the unit rolls around easy, which helps when I clean. The tray does catch most mess, and it's not hard to empty. That said, the wood is thin and my bunnies started chewing the edges already. Worse, urine seems to soak into the wood and holds a smell, and the tray's texture traps residue so wiping doesn't fully clean it. For the price it's okay, just don't expect long-term durability. I'm mildly annoyed but it's usable for now.
Rusted faster than expected
assembly was straightforward and it looked good at first. But that doesn't help now. I'm asking for a refund or replacement. I have more video if needed. Communication felt robotic and short. Not great. I even recommended it to a couple friends, so I'm especially disappointed; still waiting on a real response.
Cold start, slow fixes
factory out of stock, 15 days, etc. After a month and a reminder they shipped a replacement, but that one didn't work either. Delivery took far longer than promised and responses required multiple emails. Product looks good, but the service and delivery really detracted from the experience.
A solid coop if you don’t expect miracles
I’d recommend this if you know you’ll tinker — don’t buy it thinking it’s a plug-and-play palace for ten big hens. I first saw it on a gardening forum and a neighbor actually tipped me off to buy it. When it arrived some pieces had small splinters but everything was there and nothing was smashed. The build feels okay for the money, not fancy, but usable. It definitely won’t comfortably hold ten adults; I squeeze in seven hens and one leftover spot and that’s about it. My birds only sleep in it and spend days in a fenced yard, which seems fine. Expect to put in extra work beyond the directions: the panel paint is thin and dusty so I repainted with proper exterior paint, and the supplied screws were a joke — I used wood glue and better screws to make it solid. Also add layered chicken wire under the floor if predators are a thing where you live. Wind can be an issue too; I anchored mine with t-posts and steel cable after a windy night made me nervous. All told I spent roughly an extra fifty dollars on fixes and reinforcements. I’m relieved it works out, but a bit annoyed I had to do the extra stuff. If you have eight or fewer full-grown hens and like DIY, go for it. If not, look for something heavier duty.
Little hutch, big headache
I actually bought this after my neighbor showed me a pic — seemed fine online — and honestly I figured “how bad can it be?” Well, pretty bad. When it arrived the wood felt paper-thin, wobbling like it was made of cardboard, and a huge front panel was missing, like someone packed it without looking. The floor was cracked too, so it didn’t even sit right. I called and kept getting bounced to someone overseas, although they claim a US warehouse. Tried to get a return label and then radio silence — no follow-up, nothing. Kinda feels like I paid for a project that never arrived. I laugh about it now but, ugh, lesson learned; be careful and don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Catio
I purchased a large catio from this company just over a year ago. My cats have loved it but unfortunately the roof has not held up. It’s caving in and no longer safe to be used, although the rest of the catio has held up well. I asked the company if they would sell me replacement roof panels to fix this, but they said they can’t do that. I’m very disappointed. If you are looking for a catio to be used outdoors in an area that is exposed to weather, I would find something else.
