my current terrier just snatches the beef-flavored tablet and it disappears, no wrestling. Feels safer than messy topical stuff and I worry less about fur and hands. Vet said formulas vary by country but for me it keeps fleas and ticks away; only found one tiny tick once. Also use Spectra for heartworm. Not perfect, but solid.
Not worth the runaround
I wouldn't order from this place again unless you like chasing your own tail. I ordered heartworm and flea meds for my dog and when tracking said it was coming from Shanghai I got suspicious — and I was right to be. The boxes looked...off. Similar to what we buy here but not the same, and that made me uneasy. I called to return them and that’s where the fun began. They told me to “return to sender,” which I couldn't do because I'd opened the package. Then they sent a return envelope supposedly to the UK, but the post office wouldn’t accept it without a customs form. With the form they then refused to mail it at all because apparently you can’t send prescription meds overseas, even though the seller didn’t need a prescription. I got conflicting advice, was told to say they were pet products, then the rep hung up. So they basically wanted me to lie to get a refund. Eventually they refunded me without getting the items back, which is fine money-wise but weird. I tried to dispute the charge and it turned out there was no point. My takeaway: product may or may not be legit, but the whole process is messy and frustrating. If you must try them, ask for a US address first (which they didn’t have), and brace yourself for phone tag and confusing instructions.
