I opened it in the common room at the nursing home while my grandma complained her back was cold. Thought I bought an electric heating pad — nope. It's basically a plug-in hot water bottle that still needs water. Feels squishy, kind of rubbery, warms up but not evenly, and the cord makes it annoying to tuck under a blanket without worrying someone will snag it. Not ideal for someone frail and spill-shy, and it did have that new-plastic smell the first couple uses. Support offered a partial refund to keep it, like "here, take some money and forget it", but I wanted a proper return with shipping covered. They wouldn’t pay shipping, so I filed a chargeback with my card issuer and got refunded. Relief. Then they started sending emails saying I owed them money — annoying. It heats, but it wasn't what I ordered and the aftercare was messy.
Saved-by-a-refund
I tried ordering from the original site, hit a wall with emails and an “out of stock” notice, and only got my money back after opening a dispute with my bank. Annoying, yeah, but the surprising part is what happened after — I bought the exact same model from a local shop instead and wow, it’s way better than I expected. The fabric is soft but sturdy, the straps don’t dig in, and the baby just melts into it and zonks out within minutes. There’s a little pocket that’s actually useful for keys and my phone, and the lumbar support really takes pressure off my back on long walks. I keep noticing small things — the stitching feels solid, the hood tucks away neatly — stuff you don’t think about until you need it. So even though the ordering experience was a hassle and the website felt sketchy, the carrier itself is a real win. Would’ve been nicer to deal with a smoother seller, but I’m happy with how this thing works day-to-day.
Not what I expected
I asked them several times to cancel and refund, got no real replies, and the item was shipped anyway. I refused the delivery and hoped it would be returned, but apparently their policy and what they tell you online don’t match — website says returns accepted in 14 days, but customer support told me they don’t take returns and to keep the package for 30 days. I was charged for two items I never used. Emails went unanswered, phone didn’t help, and getting any clear info felt impossible. On top of that, the kids’ makeup I ordered had warning labels — do not apply to lips, eyes, mouth — which made it unusable for the purpose I bought it for. So, my original doubts were mostly confirmed, not erased. A small bit of relief: refusing delivery meant I didn’t have the product sitting at home with my kids. Advice: don’t assume the refund policy is accurate, document everything, and be ready to fight if something goes wrong.
Rough arrival, but it works
total horror show, I thought, nope, can't gift that. Took it out anyway and surprisingly the motor worked fine — not pristine, but it cleaned like a champ. I contacted customer support, initially felt brushed off (they offered 10%), but after I pushed they agreed to 30% off. Still annoying about the packaging, but the refund and an OK-performing unit turned my mood from annoyed to basically satisfied.
