I ordered two Ben Sherman shirts for my husband because he already owns one XL that he wears all the time. Figured new colors would be nice. The delivery actually surprised me — showed up earlier than I thought, which was great because I needed them before a holiday. But the shirts themselves... one fit like his usual XL, the other was suddenly this huge, boxy thing even though the sleeve length was right, so sizing down didn’t seem possible. The fabric felt thinner than his original Ben Sherman shirt, like a budget version. I used them for casual work days and quick errands and honestly he didn’t end up wearing the bulky one. When I tried to return it, they charged $10 shipping per shirt even though both were in the same box, and customer service told me there wasn’t anything they could do because I’d already started the return. That annoyed me — good delivery, but the service and return setup made the whole thing more trouble than it was worth. Also noticed the price dropped after I bought them, which stung.
The delivery was a mess, the mattress wasn't
I finally dragged the wrapped mattress into the house late at night, more annoyed than excited — shipping was a total circus, but the bed itself? Pretty solid. Setup was straightforward, the foam expanded fairly quickly and the smell faded in a day. Firmness is somewhere between medium and firm, good support for my back, and I actually sleep better than I expected. It's not cloud-soft, but it feels durable and well-made.
The annoying part is the delivery and communication. I got multiple estimated dates that kept changing, an email from support that arrived way later than it should have, and the tracking on the site gave totally different info than the carrier. At one point the system said it was delivered days before I even had it. So yeah, a lot of dropped balls on logistics and no clear follow-up.
If you want the mattress, it's worth it for comfort, but order early and brace for possible delivery headaches. I'd advise calling the carrier directly if anything seems off. Finally something that actually helps my back
I was halfway through setting it up when I realized how much I’d been overthinking this whole buy — you know, the shipping drama and the long calls — but the second I sat down I felt a real difference. Had ordered this because my lower back’s been acting up after the move and every old chair just made it worse. The padding is firmer than the pictures showed, in a good way, and that little built-in lumbar bump actually hits the right spot. Assembly was messy but simple — a couple of screws, five minutes, no weird tools. Fabric feels surprisingly soft and not cheap, and the armrests don’t squeak when I shift around working.
Lemon instead of white
some reps stuck to their story that the color matched, others finally listened and arranged a return. I tried to stop the payment via PayPal, they offered a refund but wanted to keep a chunk for shipping — I pushed back and refused. Eventually the team in South Africa got involved and they issued return labels; UPS picked up the unassembled pieces at no cost. That part actually worked smoothly. Refund finally came through minus a small fee, which annoyed me, but after two months of back-and-forth I accepted it just to be done. I’d bought it for my reading corner and was bummed it never made it there, but in the end the return process did get sorted — not great, not terrible.
Neighbor's mirror turned into a shipping saga — ended better than I expected
after pushing for a supervisor and staying on the line while sipping cold coffee, someone actually took ownership. They coordinated a FedEx return pickup and issued a full refund, plus a small account credit for the hassle. It wasn't instant and it wasn't smooth, but it got fixed without me having to eat the whole cost. Delivery process clearly needs work — and the first-line service could be less by-the-book — but the escalation path did its job. I'm relieved, honestly. Been shopping with them off and on for years, so I appreciated that it didn't just end in a $200 loss. Bottom line: messy start, decent finish, and I told my sister the sequel was worth it.
Mixed bag, mostly hassle
nope, no exceptions, refund only to the original card — a card that no longer exists. When I asked to speak to a manager I was flat-out refused, told they'd all say the same thing. Not even a transfer. Just a hard stop. I tried email — over ten attempts — and most bounced back. Then I sat on hold for multiple calls where they liked to tell me "your call is important" and leave me listening to the same loop for 90 minutes to two hours. No callback option, no human who could help, just waiting and waiting until I gave up. Delivery itself was a weird mix: the box and packaging were actually decent, and the shipment arrived early (that was a nice surprise), but the wrong-size items and the difficulty getting a refund completely overshadowed that. The product photos were a little misleading and the finish felt cheaper than expected, so even if the size had been right I would've been on the fence. I have had rough customer service experiences with other big retailers too, but usually someone eventually helps or offers a workaround. Here it felt like the system was designed to make you quit. A couple of agents sounded apologetic on the phone — genuinely sympathetic — but they literally couldn't do anything. So there's that: a bit of human empathy stuck in a brick wall of policy. Overall, decent packing and one unexpectedly early delivery, but the return/refund experience and the stonewalling customer service made this a no-go for me.
