I set it up the weekend after it arrived and for the first hour it felt solid — nice finish, roomy top — but the LED strip was half-dead, only the left side lights up. Kind of deflates the mood when you buy a gaming desk for the lights. I emailed support (order #PD65550) immediately, replied to their email on April 5th, waited through the bank holiday, and now it's April 10th with crickets. They said they'd contact me if I posted the best way to reach me, but I didn't want to put personal details in a public review, so I used the email on the order instead. Still nothing. Functionally the desk is fine, but the lighting issue and the silence from support are annoying — not a disaster, disappointing.
Wrong-house rescue mission
cheap price, sketchy photos, minimal reviews. Turns out the doubt was...sorta valid. Item was sent to a different name and, hilariously/sadly, dropped at the wrong house, so I had to go fetch it from a neighbor. Packed Direct barely answered—three emails, calls that die mid-tone, chatbot that gives generic nonsense. Then, after I stopped tweeting and sulking, they finally replied (thanks). The product isn’t premium but it works. Honestly, I still prefer a phone pickup option. Kind of relieved it ended okay, but if you care, maybe pay a bit more.
Box that actually worked
it came separately and was damaged. Packed Direct replied at first and even sent a replacement lid, which made me hopeful, but that lid arrived damaged and then today I discovered it’s missing a tiny plastic tab (like an inch long) so I can’t attach the lock. I’ve emailed and left voicemails since Feb 27 (order #PD65741, placed Feb 21) — crickets after the initial response. So yeah, one box is great, the rest is messy. If they could just send that tiny part (or answer an email) this would be sorted. Tip: keep photos and be persistent and be patient.
Slightly nervous, pleasantly surprised
solid and roomy, nicer than the pics. Not perfect — there was a tiny scuff, which annoyed me for a second — but it doesn’t show once it’s tucked against the wall. So my earlier doubts mostly disappeared. Happy with the product. Could be smoother on delivery, but overall a win.
Half the speed, full headache
I stepped on it expecting a 12 km/h treadmill. It tops out at about 6 km/h. Feels like a fast walk, not a run. Belt and cushioning are okay and the display is clear, but the speed cap ruins it for my workouts. I tried their live chat and was told to email. At first they replied and asked for a short video to check the issue. I sent the video and then followed up a few times asking for a refund. Silence. I’d already given away my old machine because I needed faster runs — that was a mistake. I also called customer service and all they said was “email us.” No real help. If they don’t respond today I’ll file a dispute with my bank. Usable for walking, useless for runs.
