I was honestly worried this would turn into a mess. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my mom, but the first one arrived damaged. They replaced it right away, which was great. Then my mom got sick and couldn’t pick up the replacement before it was returned—just awful timing. I expected extra shipping charges or a lot of back-and-forth, especially after a bad experience with another company. Instead, they sent it to my address so I can give it to her when she’s better. That was unexpectedly thoughtful.
Not Worth the Hassle
Honestly, I’d skip this store next time. I bought two chess sets for my dad after we’d had a bad experience with flimsy pieces from another seller, so I opened them right away to check. The boxes looked decent, but the sets themselves felt cheap and nowhere near worth what I paid. What really bothered me was learning that opening the plastic wrap meant no return, even though that’s the only way to inspect them. Delivery was fine, but the policy left me pretty frustrated.
Missed the deadline, now they want me to pay
don’t trust them with time-sensitive stuff. A friend had mentioned them and I found the sale on their website, so I ordered and paid for 1–2 day shipping specifically for Christmas. They actually shipped it with a 3-day label, blamed the carrier, and ignored my request to reroute it back since I didn’t want it after the holiday. Sure enough it arrived late, label showed 3-day, and now they expect me to cover return shipping for their mistake. Kinda frustrating and disappointing — felt like zero accountability. Might be fine for non-urgent purchases, but not worth the risk.
Not quite 8x10-friendly
I spotted this album on a friend's shelf and ordered one because it looked clean and came with stickers. The listing said pages were 28 x 21 cm, so I figured 8x10 prints would slide right in. Big nope. The ring holes eat into the page — roughly an inch less usable width — so my 8x10 photos don't fit comfortably. It looks nice though; good cover and weight, so that was a pleasant surprise. I reached out to customer service but haven't heard back. For that price (I paid £53 including stickers) I expected clearer specs. A simple note about usable page area would save others the hassle. Probably will return it.

The invoice they sent to UPS had the wrong details, which meant I was suddenly hit with an import charge I didn’t expect (not cool). UPS tried to deliver a few times — like five knocks at the door — but I couldn’t accept it without paying that tax. I reached out to the company and they apologized, promised they’d sort it and even said I wouldn’t have to pay. It wasn’t instant, there was a lot of chasing (I sent the payment link and reminders), but eventually they picked up, took responsibility and started the refund process. So yeah, frustrating in the middle — it messed with my prep — but they did fix it and refunded me, which I appreciate. Still, delivery chaos and admin mistakes are annoying. Overall I’d use them again, but I’d double-check the paperwork next time.
