Expensive watch repair disappointment
I recently contacted a well-known watch brand to see about fixing up my pricey timepiece that I bought ten years ago. I was pretty bummed out when they told me they couldn't get rid of the scratches, switch out the battery, or replace the missing stones in the strap. It was super frustrating because I figured a big brand like that would be able to handle repairs on older watches. It seems like they only focus on the newer models, leaving us older watch owners out in the cold when it comes to keeping our timepieces in good shape. It's kind of sad to think that once a top-notch watch stops working, it's pretty much useless. This whole situation has definitely made me question the brand's worth and staying power.
