Lively phone issues
I got my mom a Lively phone to make things easier for her, but it hasn't been smooth sailing. The locator service stopped working on the 26th of December, and then the actual phone service crapped out on the 3rd of January. GreatCall is blaming it on some software update that messed with other flip phones, but come on - my mom shouldn't be without a working phone for almost two weeks! They told us to use a different phone for emergencies, but that's not always an option. It's the 7th of January now and the problem still isn't fixed. If GreatCall really cared about us seniors, they would have had this sorted out right away. It's not cool to let us down like this.
