I sat on the couch staring at the confirmation email, kind of worried — the site hints at 24-hour turnaround and I really took that to mean quick. I did call and they said everything is done in-house, so I thought, okay, fast. Turns out it took six days to get the results. That was stressful, especially for a paternity test, and I had to chase them a bit by phone and email. On the other hand, staff were friendly and steady, sample collection went smoothly, and the results were clear. Price is high and the wait bothered me, but overall the process felt professional and I’d use them again, albeit with tempered expectations.
Not worth the stress
I wouldn’t trust this company for a simple gender test. We tried their at‑home blood kit when I was pregnant and honestly it turned what should’ve been fun into a headache. First impression was fine — box arrived, instructions looked straightforward and we were excited to try it the weekend after ordering. But the first TINYTAP pooled, they sent a replacement without a fight, and the second one still didn’t collect enough blood. The lab rejected the sample and they didn’t tell us for three days — I had to chase them. Then they hit us with options: pay extra for another TINYTAP or pay even more for a nurse. After almost two weeks of back-and-forth we bailed; it stopped being exciting and started feeling like a money grab. They issued only a partial refund despite not delivering the result we paid for, and their “next day results” promise felt misleading once you read the small print about the 10 a.m. cutoff and their post arriving later. There are things they did okay — replacement device free of charge, clear packaging — but the communication and the way they shift blame to the user for a device that seems unreliable left a sour taste. In the end we found out on an ultrasound, which felt much less stressful. Would I recommend it? Not really.
Fast, reassuring visit and speedy results
Sat down not sure what to expect, but the team was calm, friendly and very clear — Dr. Corin explained every step. I use the DNA result to sort family stuff and to finally stop guessing. Results were emailed quickly, delivery of kit and follow-up were smooth. Really glad I picked them.
Not what I hoped
I wouldn't rely on these at all. I bought a home drug-test kit a couple weeks after I stopped a prescription, just to calm my nerves before a job screen. First impression: the box had the cups and strips but zero instructions — nothing. I figured out you pee in the cup, but there's no guidance on wait time, interpreting faint lines, or the test's detection limits. I emailed customer service asking for instructions and any scientific specs and basically got told to use it for "peace of mind" — no detection limits, no validation data. As someone who's worked with lab assays, that answer is unacceptable. It felt sloppy and kind of amateur. I wanted it to be useful — quick, cheap idea — but without data I can't trust whatever lines show up. So yeah, it's disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it if you need a reliable check, only if you want vague reassurance.
