Payment issue with card saved
I recently had a problem with an online service that led to an unauthorized charge on my card. I used my card to pay for 5 months of service for a client who couldn't make the payment due to forex restrictions. But when I stopped working with the company, I found out they charged my card without asking me. I didn't know they saved my card info or how to cancel it after that first payment. I contacted customer service right away to ask for a refund, but they said no refunds, even though I only used the service for a month out of the five I paid for. It's a big deal to lose over $1000 for a service I'm not using and don't plan to use.
Social media analytics tool
I was really let down by this social media analytics tool. The trial period didn't live up to what it promised. For example, it said I could compare more than two competitors to my brand, but that feature wasn't actually available. The support team said it would be months before it was ready, which was frustrating. On top of that, the 150k mentions quota got used up quickly by related keywords, leading to a cluttered feed. Instead of being able to track my Brand Name separately from other keywords, everything was mixed together, making it hard to analyze. And to make things worse, Awario doesn't give refunds, which I think is pretty lousy customer service. This poor support and inflexible policies make me concerned about the overall quality of the product. I'd suggest trying Mention instead - even their trial period offers more features than Awario's 'pro' plan.
Social media listening tool
I just bought this social media listening tool and man, was I let down. Website said it could monitor mentions on Facebook and Instagram, but turns out it couldn't. Super misleading, right? And to top it off, no refunds allowed once I figured it out. If only I had known beforehand, could have saved myself a bunch of time and stress.
