It resembles a drawing program but specializes in the creation of diagrams that are interconnected. It is accompanied by a palette of symbols and shapes that are pre-defined and keeps lines joined between them if they are rearranged or edited.

EDRAWSOFT is a business diagramming software that specializes in 2d technical drawings. It makes it possible to create mind maps, organizational charts, flow charts, floor plans, business charts, network diagrams, and workflow diagrams, and engineering diagrams. Edraw Max 9.4, the current version was released in March 2019 for mac OS, Microsoft Windows, and Linux. Edraw Max is a diagramming tool that is Visio-like.

EDrawSoft has produced many versions of Edraw Max, Edraw Max 9.4 being the latest. Edraw Max can be utilized to create charts for diagrams using inbuilt symbols and templates for a wide variety of categories. Edraw Max 9.4 is available in two types a professional editable version and a free viewer version. The professional editable version has additional examples for creating diagrams and also has more templates.
