It got fixed, so overall okay, but the process was clunky. I first saw the app on a subreddit after a friend tipped me and decided to try it. Mid-process I got an automatic "transfer complete" message, yet there was no transaction on the blockchain when I checked — the report said it should be done in seconds. Support eventually sorted it and even sent a small compensation, which I appreciated. Responses were slow, my contact form never gave a confirmation, and they had to forward it to IT who weren’t available right away. I was a bit annoyed at the delays, but the problem was resolved in the end.
Sneaky fee, but it moved fast
Right after I hit redeem I remember thinking "huh that's odd" — the popup showed $90 but my final receipt listed $80 in Litecoin. A friend had sent me the link, so I tried it thinking it'd be quick and simple. The real problem was the 9% fee (they told me after I emailed), which never appeared during checkout — only on the receipt. That stung; I lost cash I was planning to spend on a gift for my brother and now have to wait to top up. On the plus side the transfer cleared quickly and support actually answered me, so I wasn't totally stranded. I'm honestly glad it wasn't worse, but double-check fees or use another route if you want to avoid surprises.
Small win after a messy start
I was halfway through installing a new game when I realized the $30 G2A gift card wasn’t what it seemed. Paid $30.96, expecting $30 value, but after a 10.027% cut and withdrawal fees I ended up with about $25.22 in USDC on ETH. That’s roughly 18.5% in total fees. Annoying. The site wanted email, address and ID to redeem, which was fine but felt heavy for a simple purchase. The moment I was actually satisfied was when I found a cheaper route — Wanda.exchange for bigger cards, final fees near 9%, and some options don’t need KYC. I use these cards mostly to top up my gaming and subscriptions, so fees matter. Switched a few purchases and felt the relief immediately.
