Vietnam Family Holiday
The experience booking with the company was really smooth and impressive, but the actual tour itself was pretty disappointing. The itinerary they gave us seemed like it wasn't planned out well, and on top of that, it was way outdated. Like for instance, during the Halong Bay Cruise, the schedule they gave us was totally different from the one we saw on the website before we left. We found out that the cruise company couldn't follow that itinerary since 2015 because of new government rules. It made our tour feel like we were three years behind. Also, the tour leader in the North wasn't that great - he left us at the train station with the wrong info about when we'd get to Denang, and he took off before the train got there, leaving everyone else confused and with no help until it was time to board.
Jordan Explorer package
I would caution against booking the Jordan Explorer package with this travel company. We were told we'd stay in certain hotels, but last minute they switched us to much worse ones. The transportation was uncomfortable and there were more people in the group than they said there would be. The tour guide didn't help us at all with the problems we faced.
Egypt, Alexandria tour
Our trip to Alexandria, Egypt was a letdown because the plans kept changing suddenly without us knowing. We got there and found out things had been switched around without us being told beforehand, so we had no idea where we were supposed to stay. It was really confusing and made us feel lost and unsure of what to expect. On top of that, the hotel we thought we were staying at in downtown Alexandria got changed to a spot outside of town, which made everything more inconvenient and didn't help our trip go smoothly. It was frustrating not having a new plan laid out for us, so we ended up feeling unprepared and not sure about what was happening next. All in all, the trip didn't live up to what we hoped for because of all the unexpected changes and lack of communication.
Trip to Jordan
I booked a trip to Jordan with this company and I have to say, I was pretty let down by their lack of communication and customer service. The ongoing conflict in the region made me nervous, so I reached out multiple times to talk about my options and worries, but I never got a response. Finally, when I did hear from them, it was just to confirm that they canceled my trip and to tell me I'd only get a small refund because of the timing. I tried to get in touch with them way before the 20-day cancellation policy, but they seemed to be dodging me on purpose. It's frustrating to only get back a portion of what I paid for the trip. I feel like they tricked me and ripped me off. I won't be using their services again and I'd tell others to be careful with them too.
North India tour
My recent trip to North India was a bit of a rollercoaster. I had a blast exploring Varanasi, taking in all the sights and sounds. However, there were some bumps along the way that put a damper on things. The flights were poorly scheduled, cutting our time short at our destinations. And don't even get me started on the long wait at the airport in Delhi - talk about frustrating!
On top of that, the hotels we stayed at definitely needed some upgrades. I was expecting more from those 4-star ratings. And let's not forget about the bus rides - those were rough. The buses were old, bumpy, and had windows that looked like they were straight out of the 80s. Not the most comfortable way to travel, that's for sure.Tailored two-week holiday in Turkey
