I am very disappointed with my recent trip to Greece booked through Exotica Travel. The itinerary and destinations were beautiful, but the overall hotel experience was far below what was originally promised and advertised.
Several of the hotels were changed at the last minute and replaced with cheaper accommodations that did not meet the quality standards we expected and paid for. This created unnecessary stress and took away from what should have been a memorable vacation experience.
The daily activities and local arrangements in Greece were handled by Tour Greece. While transportation and transfers were organized and always on time, the accommodations were unacceptable, especially during the last leg of our trip in Crete.
Our stay at Hotel Marin in Heraklion, Crete, was a terrible experience. The room was disgusting — the faucet was almost falling apart, the floors were ..., and the overall condition of the room was unacceptable. We requested another room, but the staff refused and insisted that the room was “fine.”
My daughter’s room was also ... When she asked for clean sheets, the staff gave her a hard time instead of helping professionally. In the end, they simply handed her the sheets and expected her to change them herself.
To make matters worse, we contacted the Tour Greece representative and explained the entire situation. We were told that someone would call us back to resolve the issue, but nobody ever returned our call.
Trying to communicate with Exotica Travel was equally frustrating and almost impossible. They instruct customers to communicate through WhatsApp, yet messages go unanswered and there is no real customer support when problems arise. The entire experience was a total mess.
This level of customer service and lack of cleanliness is completely unacceptable for a company that advertises quality travel experiences. I expected much better communication, transparency, accountability, and respect for travelers who spend a significant amount of money and trust on these vacations.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend Exotica Travel and would strongly advise future travelers to carefully review what is actually being provided before booking.Awesome trip from start to finish!
That trip was amazing! Everyone we met was really nice and everything went so well. The app had all the information we needed and the hotels were fantastic. They were always there to help us out whenever we needed it. I'm definitely planning on going on another trip with them!

EExoticca Greece tour
The tour I booked in Greece with this company was absolutely awesome. The schedule was really well thought out, giving us a good mix of guided tours and time to explore on our own. One of the best parts was having Maria as our guide at the Archeology Museum in Athens. She knew so much and made history come alive with her storytelling. The hotels we stayed in were even better than I had hoped, especially the amazing breakfast spreads. I had an amazing time and I'm already thinking about booking another trip with them, maybe to Corfu next.

Our tour guide was amazing! He knew so much about the sites and the country, and he shared all of that info with us. He didn't just give us history and culture, he also listened to us and answered all of our questions. He made sure we felt comfortable and safe the whole time. He paid attention to every little detail and even made changes to the tour to make it even better. Our tour guide really made our trip one to remember.

Our trip to Ecuador, Galapagos, and Peru was really amazing. Everything was so well organized and fun, except for the hotel in CUZCO. The tour guides were super smart and shared tons of interesting info about the places we went. But, the hotel in CUZCO and the flight back with Avianca Airlines just didn't meet our expectations. It was a bit of a bummer.
China trip
My trip was amazing! The places we visited were really cool and the hotels were super comfortable. I think having a day off between each city would be awesome. Our guide Mary in Beijing was fantastic and she helped us a lot. Overall, the trip was planned really well and I had a great time!
Basic and straightforward travel package
We really liked how easy our travel package was. We didn't need all those extra things like someone carrying our bags, fancy meals, or someone showing us around the city. We like doing things our own way, carrying our own stuff, eating wherever we want, and taking our time exploring. The hotels we stayed in were great, and the breakfast they served was yummy. Our tour guide was the best - so professional, knew a lot, and was really nice. It was a really amazing experience all around.
First Exotica trip
We just booked our first trip through Exoticca, it's not until 5 months from now but the app and all the info on their website, along with our booking details, have really helped us get ready. There were a couple of hiccups at first when we made the reservation, but when we called in, we got in touch with a rep who guided us through the rest of the process. She was super friendly, patient, and made us feel at ease. Because of her, we're all set for a new adventure this upcoming fall.

Egypt trip with Exoticca
Our trip to Egypt with Exoticca was amazing! The whole trip was well organized, from airport pickup to our guides, Sam and Tony, who had so much knowledge about Egyptian history. Michelle and the Planet Tours team made sure everything went smoothly. The staff on the Nile cruise were wonderful, especially Mohammed who took great care of us during meals. The chefs made delicious food and the cabin crew kept everything clean. It was a fantastic experience and we can't wait for our next adventure!
Purchased travel package
My experience with the travel package had some good and bad parts. The tour guide in the city I visited was really great and knew a lot, which made the trip fun. But, there were some things in the trip schedule that didn't go smoothly. They changed the schedule last minute without giving us enough notice, which was tough for some people who had already made plans based on the original schedule. Also, we felt like we were always in a rush during the activities, so we didn't have enough time to really enjoy the experience. I ended up feeling too tired to fully enjoy some of the things included in the package. Despite these problems, I still think my overall experience was good and something I will remember.
Recent Travel Experiences
I just got back from a trip to Greece and Netherlands/Belgium that I booked through this company, and I gotta say, I wasn't too thrilled with how it all turned out. The schedule felt way too packed, the hotels were just okay, and the whole trip didn't quite live up to the awesome experiences I've had on other trips with them. I was so excited to check out those places, but it ended up leaving me a bit let down.
Morocco Grand Tour
Oh my gosh, you guys, my trip to Morocco was seriously incredible! I can't even begin to describe how amazing it was. The whole experience was way more awesome than I ever imagined. Our tour guide was the coolest, he told us all about the culture and history of Morocco as we traveled around to all these different cities and towns. We even got to see some talented artisans and taste some delicious food. The Grand tour was a blast, we saw so many cool places and got to meet so many interesting people. If you're going, I totally recommend splurging on the superior or luxury accommodations - the food and rooms are so much better. And oh my goodness, you absolutely have to spend a night in the Sahara Desert, it's seriously epic!
Galapagos & Ecuador group travel
Highly recommend this trip for anyone with dreams of visiting the Galapagos and Amazon rainforest. Our guide, George, was absolutely amazing and made sure we were always safe and having a great time. We were lucky to have such a fantastic group of people with us. Just a heads up, this trip can be pretty tiring physically, so make sure you're ready for that.
Tour of Ecuador
The trip I took to Ecuador with Exoticca was really well-planned and had a great pace that let us really make the most of our time there. Our guides, Alex and Eddie, were awesome - super knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all things Ecuador, from history to culture. The only thing I kinda wished for was a bit more presence from a guide while we were in Galapagos. But, I gotta say, Exoticca really impressed me with how flexible and helpful they were when my return flight got changed, even hooking me up with an extra night at no charge. Overall, I had a really good time and would totally think about booking with them again down the road.
Trip of a lifetime
My recent trip with this travel company was amazing. From the moment I booked to my ride back home, everything was planned and done perfectly. The hotels they picked were top-notch, all in great locations in the city or at lovely resorts. The local guides knew a lot about the culture and history of the place, and were really helpful. The customer service team was quick to respond to all my questions before I left. And the person who welcomed us when we arrived was so friendly and made us feel at home. Overall, I highly recommend this travel company for an unforgettable adventure.
Trip to Turkey with long drives and early starts, expensive drinks at hotels
Overall, my trip to Turkey was pretty good. The guide we had was really smart and kept us interested in everything we saw. It was fun to travel with a cool group of people on the trip. But, I have to mention that we did have to spend a lot of time in the car and wake up early every day, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. Also, I noticed that drinks in Turkey, especially at the hotels, were a bit pricey.
China tour experience
I had a really amazing time with Exoticca on my tour of China. It was my first time traveling with them, and I was impressed from start to finish. The guides were super knowledgeable and friendly, making sure we saw all the cool stuff. The hotels were fancy and really added to the whole experience. I would totally tell my friends and family to use Exoticca, and I can't wait to book another trip with them soon.
Easy and perfect trip
I just got back from this amazing trip with my family! It was all so easy, from getting on the plane to getting back home. Our hotel was adorable and super cozy, and the tour guide knew everything cool about the places we went. We saw tons of awesome stuff and learned a bunch along the way.
My exotic trip
My trip was amazing! I took 8 flights in just 12 days going back and forth from Argentina to the UK. The transfers between flights were all really smooth and simple, which was awesome because I tend to get stressed out easily. The hotels were fantastic too. They were super clean and comfortable. It's a good idea to have WhatsApp wherever you travel so you can easily chat with the locals. They respond really quickly, usually in less than 10 minutes! Also, make sure you know some Spanish and how to get Argentinian currency because you'll definitely need it there.
