I wouldn’t order from WeightWorld again. I needed their supplements while I was mid-move and dealing with worsening back pain, so I chose them because they said the item ships from France. Order looked fine and I paid about €20 including delivery. Then out of the blue my card was charged another €33 for import fees, because the item actually came from the UK. No one told me. No option to approve extra charges. I tried to sort it out and asked for the €33 back. Customer service dug in their heels and wouldn’t budge. The product did arrive in the end, but it was annoying, slow and felt like someone else’s mistake dumped on me. Honestly I was frustrated and a little sad about how it was handled. If you want clear communication and someone who owns their stock, look somewhere else.
PayPal saved the day, barely
don’t expect much from this seller, but at least PayPal helped me get my money back. I bought a 'foot massager' over Christmas and as soon as I opened it I realized it wasn’t what was shown. I called them right away and felt uneasy, so I took photos and a video to prove the item was working and still in the original packaging before I posted it back — ended up paying £6.99 postage. I had to chase them two weeks later and they told me it arrived broken and in a disgusting state, so no refund for the £69.95. When I pointed out the photos and that all our messages went through PayPal, they suddenly backtracked and said they’d refund only if I stopped corresponding with PayPal. I involved PayPal’s legal team and got the item cost back through them, but they still refuse to refund postage even though I have an email from the seller saying they would and it’s in their terms. The device itself felt like flimsy plastic with no substance. I’ve had easier returns elsewhere — this one was slow and sketchy. So yeah, glad it ended okay, but I won’t buy here again.
Product works, company doesn't
false promises about refunds, conflicting emails, and a shipped package when I’d asked not to — that part drained a lot of goodwill. Customer service felt reactive, and I had to repeat myself several times. So, product-wise I’m cautiously positive — it’s usable, does what it says in a low-key way — but the company’s handling ruined part of the experience. If they fixed communication and delivery, I’d reorder. For now I’d warn you: the product can work, just expect to fight for it a bit. Also, shipping costs felt high for the level of service.
Jolt at checkout, calm later
after I placed the order again (ugh), I forwarded the order number, waited, and then the refund for the discount actually showed up on my card. It took a little back-and-forth, and yes, I had to nag a bit, but they followed through. The capsules themselves are easy to swallow, not that fishy aftertaste you dread, and they've become part of my routine—one in the morning with whatever cereal I grab while chasing the kid out the door. They sit well in my stomach, and I do feel less brain-fog on busy afternoons, so I keep reaching for the bottle.
So, skeptical at first, mildly annoyed in the middle, pleasantly relieved at the end. The experience had bumps—automation hiccups, some waiting, a tiny bit of hustle on my part—but the product does what I wanted and the company fixed the money part in the end. Not perfect, but usable and worth trying if you want straightforward supplements without drama.
