don’t expect a smooth buy — I spent weeks chasing them and I’m mostly just relieved it didn’t get uglier. I ordered a solar panel kit in mid‑January and it showed up damaged on Jan 26. After that I made 50+ calls, sent tons of messages and got very little useful info. They only agreed to a return after an “investigation,” I ended up paying £230 for the courier even though I didn’t arrange it, dates were never properly confirmed, then the wrong pickup details were given. It took about two months to get it collected and now they say parts are missing. Frustrating, but at least something finally moved.
Lighter-than-my-groceries upgrade
it showed up ahead of schedule, nicely packed, and the seller sent a follow-up message with tracking and a cheerful “let us know if you need anything.” I actually messaged customer service once to ask about the charger and they replied quickly and helpful, which I appreciated. First time I clipped it into the mount I thought, huh, this thing’s light — way lighter than the two old 12V lead batteries I lugged around. Took it out on the lake the same afternoon. Using an 86 lb thrust trolling motor, the power stayed rock steady no matter the speed. The drain was shockingly low - after a couple of multi-hour trips it only dropped like 15–20% each time. So I didn’t have to recharge between outings, which felt like a luxury. Bluetooth is a neat little toy — app on my phone shows charge levels in real time and it pretty much sat flat when unused, no slow bleed like the old batteries. One small gripe: the extra Eco-Worthy charger I bought charges slower on 24V (10A) vs 12V (20A). Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing. Overall I’m happy and kinda relieved it lived up to the hype; glad I went for it. Customer service and delivery made the whole switch painless, which matters a lot when you’re already juggling gear, kids, and sunscreen.
Mixed bag but works — buy from a retailer, not direct
I’d buy again, but only through a store like Amazon. Quick summary first — two of the rack batteries I got via Amazon arrived fast and do their job; the one I ordered direct is still stuck and the seller’s replies didn’t actually fix anything. So yeah, mixed experience. The good part: the Amazon units power up, hold charge, and generally behave. One of them is fine, no drama. The other one, though, shows a cell creeping high as it nears full charge so the pack stops charging around 97% to avoid overvoltage. Annoying, but manageable — I’ll just cap charging at 95% next season to avoid stressing that cell. That’s a bit of tinkering but not a dealbreaker for me. Now the less-good part: the battery I bought directly has been sitting with the carrier in Germany for ages. The seller answers emails saying they’ll sort it, and then nothing changes. It’s frustrating and made me wary, especially since I’ve had better support from other companies I’ve used before. I also poked around an unofficial user group and it looks like folks in the US often get quicker help, so if you’re outside the US expect slower responses. Overall I’m sceptical at first but ended up satisfied with the units I received via a retailer. If you want less fuss, order from a known marketplace rather than direct.
