I walked in pretty sure I’d leave empty-handed since I was after red-and-white Nikes, then Doc Martens loafers. Neither came in my size, which was a bummer. Still, my friends found a bunch of good stuff, and the prices were honestly better than I expected. I’d check back again.
Better Than Expected
I stopped in during one of their year-end sales and found a solid pair for less than I expected. The selection was pretty small, though. Staff mostly had that “too cool to notice you” vibe, which was a little funny. Still, the deal made the trip worth it.
Raffles left me unsure
The raffle part really left a bad taste. I signed up for two limited-release raffles and kept getting different answers about when and how things would drop. Regular sneaker shopping seems fine, but the whole release process felt confusing and sketchy. I came in excited, then just kind of disappointed.
Booted for Stepping Away
I stepped off the property for a minute and my car was booted. A hundred dollars later, I was done. Staff wasn't much help either.
The excitement wore off early
By the time my order showed up, the excitement had mostly worn off. I started using it that night, and it was fine, not amazing. Delivery took longer than expected with barely any updates. Customer service eventually replied, but it felt pretty scripted. It works, sure, though the whole process needs more care.
Better than expected
Honestly, I’d buy from Nice Kicks again. The Salomons were a solid pickup for everyday wear, and the price came in lower than I expected. I’ve had slow replies from other shops, so KP being helpful and easy to talk to was a nice surprise. Delivery was smooth.
