    Finally sorted, but messy

    Overall it worked out, though it was messy. I tried to return used boots that were listed as free returns. They said there was no order record and stopped answering for a bit. I sent invoice copies. It seemed like a third-party vendor even though it showed on Keen. After a few reminders they replied and processed it. Glad it ended okay.

    Surprisingly comfy, with a catch

    Liked them overall, surprised they were comfy right away. I wore them about five times for quick errands and standing at my desk. The center stitch leans more on one foot — odd, but not a deal breaker at first. Then the heel sole started to give. Kinda bummed, but glad they fit and felt good while they lasted and I'm thankful I tried them.

I managed to get one rep on the phone who converted part of the value into online store credit — that helped, at least. The shoes I ordered didn't fit, was told to return and reorder a bigger size. I ordered before 9am ET Thursday and by Friday evening nothing had shipped. I asked for escalation and never heard back. Mildly annoyed and a bit anxious — follow-up was poor.

They issued a claim number, sent a prepaid return label, and arranged a replacement within a week. Not dramatic, not flashy, just a fast, professional fix — and that was the surprising part that made me feel satisfied. It doesn’t change that I expected more longevity for $165, and I’m still wary, but compared to my bad experiences with companies that ignore you, this was refreshingly solid. I’d buy again, cautiously.
