I sat on the couch, card in hand, hesitating because I'd been burned by scams before. Needed a new mattress for my bad back, so I took a chance. Ordering went through okay and the mattress actually helps. Still, the delivery fee was ridiculously high and some reviews felt fake, which made me nervous again. Customer replies were slow, but overall I'm relieved it worked.
Mailbox Surprise
Sun was out, mailbox full of junk, but there it was — a supposedly Gucci wallet I’d won from HapaBox. I sold it to StockX the minute I opened the box, thinking easy flip, until today when StockX emailed that they couldn't validate it and refused the sale. Now I'm being told I might owe fees for sending counterfeit goods, and HapaBox support just quoted a seven-day window and then clipped off. No useful answers, silence. Delivery was fine — fast and intact — but their customer service feels sketchy, and I’m annoyed to consider a police report.
Won a prize, then a headache
Right after I opened that mystery box I actually won something — I was buzzing at my desk. The excitement faded fast when checkout wanted a $50 shipping charge and then kept forcing me into extra deposits instead of letting me just pay. I sat in the customer chat for hours and the chat kept dropping, which was super frustrating. I like the idea and the little prize, but the payment flow and support need work. Now I’ve got to sort this out with my bank.
Surprisingly fun, but buggy
I'm glad I tried it — it's actually fun and kinda addictive, even though it's glitchy. I downloaded it as a distraction after a stressful move, so I wanted something quick. Two times the game froze and restarted my battle, and I lost prizes (I screen recorded both — one was an iPhone 16, one an Apple Watch). Support's slow, bring receipts, still worth a shot.
