Little relief, big surprise
Halfway through wrapping other presents I checked the gift basket order — honestly I was nervous ordering from the US for a friend in Beadnell. It showed up right on schedule, way quicker than I braced for, and she texted a photo — said she loved the little handwritten note tucked inside. First impression was simple, thoughtful, no drama. My pre-purchase worries pretty much disappeared.
Nice hamper, hiccup fixed
Walked into my parents' living room and the hamper was on the table — looked great at first, all neatly wrapped and felt substantial, like someone cared. Then I saw a crushed corner and a jar had shifted, so yeah, damaged in transit. I emailed customer service and got a reply within a couple hours from Carolyn; she said the company was closed for Christmas but would sort it once they reopened. She followed through and a replacement is being sent straight to my folks. Could've been handled smoother, but compared to other places that vanish, I’m relieved and glad they fixed it.
Saved my Christmas
I wasn't sure how they'd manage a Christmas Eve drop-off, but they pulled it off and kept me updated — nice. The hamper felt generous, heavy actually, lots of locally made goodies that smelled amazing. We tore it open with friends and everything tasted really good, not cheap. Would tell a friend to get it, skip the tiny jam if you don't like sweet.
