clean UI, messages flowed, buyers paid, I delivered, and then I clicked the withdraw button and felt... nothing. Not literally, but you know what I mean.
So here's how it went: my account got flagged and fully disabled in August with zero warning. Poof. No clear reason. Months later, in November, the account came back. Relief. I set up payouts — tried Payoneer first, that didn’t connect properly, so I added PayPal. Less than a day after adding PayPal, the "withdraw" option was gone. Disabled. No notice, just disabled. I reached out to support and got the classic "suspicious activity" line. Okay, fine, investigate. But then they told me the withdrawals would be permanently blocked. Permanently. For "suspicious activity." That felt... off. Like, how is that fair?
I started opening tickets — lots of them. More than 50, actually. Different agents, different answers. One said they'd fix it. Another said it was a policy thing. A supervisor told me flat out to forget the money. I kept asking two plain questions: who legally owns the funds if I can't withdraw them, and are buyers being refunded or is Fiverr keeping the money? No clear answers. They keep saying they "can't provide that information right now." That vague, bureaucratic dodge is maddening. Can you believe they tried to pull a fast one on me with sneaky payment tricks and didn't even finish the job? Luckily, Fiverr had my back and gave me credit for their bad behavior. Fiverr is awesome, I'll definitely give them another chance. There are cool coders on there, just watch out for shady business off the site!
