I bought a social media marketing service from Fiverr recently and honestly, it wasn't the best. The seller didn't communicate well, gave short responses, and didn't explain the pricing when I asked. It made me doubt if they really got what I needed and could deliver. Overall, it was just okay, not awful but definitely not great.
Gig Rejection Frustrations
I had a really frustrating time with gig rejections on this platform. Even though I tried editing my gigs to meet the site's requirements, they kept getting rejected without any clear explanations. It's just not right that there's no guidance for a 20% fee. It's really annoying to see other gigs that are similar to mine getting approved when mine keep getting rejected. So, I've decided to take my business somewhere else.

I really loved the drawing of my pet that Hunufa did, she totally nailed his personality! She was so friendly to chat with and kept me in the loop the whole time. But I gotta say, I was kinda thrown off when I saw the final bill was higher than the original quote. It felt like a sneaky hidden fee that caught me off guard.

Even so, they gave me incomplete work and said it was done. I asked for my money back, but then they stopped talking to me. The customer service was really disappointing.

I reached out to Fiverr support right away because the person who said they did the voiceover had a stock photo and wasn't actually real. Even after showing proof and explaining the situation, Fiverr let the seller keep on tricking people. It's pretty worrisome that they're not taking responsibility and being upfront about this stuff. It makes me wonder if I can trust Fiverr anymore.

I purchased some writing services on this platform and I was pretty excited because the app seemed cool. But I was a little disappointed because I didn't receive many messages from people interested in working with me. There were only 20 other gigs like mine, so I was expecting more interest. In the end, I only got 2 messages and both declined working together. Well, at least the app itself is decent, I suppose.

I've been trying to sell my video editing services for a while now, and things were going pretty smooth until this one person just had to leave a bad review. It's ridiculous because they were upset I couldn't do something impossible for their Xbox game. Like, really? It got me so frustrated. And when I reached out to Fiverr's Customer Service, they weren't very helpful in getting rid of that unfair review. They basically told me they wouldn't remove it, even though it was clearly fake! Fiverr has been okay overall, but they take a chunk of money from both buyers and sellers, which isn't cool at all. Just a heads up, their Customer Service might not have your back when you need them!

I was really pumped to hire a coder on this website, they were supposed to help me with something major. Can you believe they tried to pull a fast one on me with sneaky payment tricks and didn't even finish the job? Luckily, Fiverr had my back and gave me credit for their bad behavior. Fiverr is awesome, I'll definitely give them another chance. There are cool coders on there, just watch out for shady business off the site!

Coding on WordPress
I recently spent $500 on hiring someone to do coding work on WordPress. Despite the fact that this person had good reviews and claimed to be experienced, my experience was not great. The payment milestones agreed upon were not met with the level of quality I was hoping for. The first milestone only resulted in a basic website that I could have done myself. The seller kept postponing our meetings, often canceling at the last minute with weak excuses. When I asked for a refund, I was told I was entitled to a full refund, but I only got half of what I paid. After pushing for it, I did eventually get a full refund from Fiverr. Still, I was disappointed with the poor communication and slow resolution of the problem. Despite this, I might use Fiverr again because of the affordable options, but I was disappointed by the customer service and the platform's policy on taking a cut of tips without clear communication.
