I almost didn't buy tickets — thought it'd be overpriced and chaotic — but wow, every scene hit on time, staff helped us find seats fast, super clean theater, perfect little date night, totally worth it.
Date mix-up handled well
Started with a mess — I bought two pairs and accidentally picked the wrong date for the second. Ellen in support fixed it fast, refunded the extra, and helped rebook the right date. I've had worse experiences elsewhere, so this felt refreshingly easy. Would recommend.
Booked the wrong city
I accidentally bought a New York show ticket thinking it was for Sydney — the site really didn't say which one clearly. Company refused a refund, which is still annoying since I don't live in the US. Other ticket sellers have been more helpful; glad it was only a lesson and not worse.
Shady ticket shuffle
I’d say don’t expect reliability. I spotted the ticket lottery on their site and told my brother; we won for the Sept 18 Lion King show and paid right away. They only promised to send e-tickets an hour before curtain—then re-sold our seats about twelve hours later. My kids were really upset.
Ticket hassle with Broadway Direct
Thought their lower fees made it worth a shot, but honestly I had a nagging feeling before ordering — and it turned out to be justified. Got a confirmation email for an April show, but no ticket PDF or link ever arrived, so I basically forgot about it. I’ve seen a ton of Broadway shows, and this will be my last purchase here. If you’re buying, stick with Ticketmaster or Telecharge. Wish they sent real tickets.
Almost perfect night, weird customer service hiccup
choose a date, pay, get the PDF, add to wallet. The app/website did its job, and check-in was painless at the door. I actually sat there thinking, hey, this was a good buy considering the view. Where things went sideways was customer service. I picked the wrong date (totally my bad) and emailed right away asking if I could swap or get a refund. The rep, Amanda, told me to let the date pass without scanning and she'd help after — so I followed that. Next day she changed her tune and said nothing could be done because the show was popular. That flip-flop was frustrating, and my follow-ups kind of went into a black hole. So, overall: the product — the tickets, the seats, the delivery — pretty solid and even pleasantly surprising. But the support process left me annoyed and out some cash. I’ve had smoother exchanges with other ticket companies, so I’ll probably use them again but be extra careful and save screenshots of every chat. Not ideal, but the night was still fun and the show blew me away.
