- Backup gone wrong- I ordered a single cartridge from LD Products to test and that one worked perfectly, which was a relief. I’ve had decent experiences with other sellers before, so this felt like an outlier. If you hate hassle and excuses, maybe skip this one.
- Not worth the gamble- By the time the third printer error popped up I had pretty much convinced myself this was a bad idea. I’d hesitated before ordering five spare cartridges — didn’t fully trust off-brand stuff — but figured keep some extras on hand. Months later the black started misbehaving, I swapped in one of theirs and the printer just showed “no communication.” Tried the second spare, same story. Contacted support, they promised to look into it and then radio silence for two weeks. When I followed up they blamed a mysterious firmware update and said no refund or warranty. That was the moment my initial doubts were confirmed, not eased. Oddly enough, a replacement from LD Products worked immediately, so whatever ghost firmware issue they claimed didn’t affect that cartridge. If you’re on the fence, I’d skip this seller or at least buy a single cartridge first. Wish they’d actually stand behind their stuff.
- Half-full hope, half-empty results- don’t buy a big pack right away — buy one, test it, and then decide. I wish they’d be honest about fill levels and actually respond when people complain. A few surprising positives, but mostly it taught me to be careful next time.
- Stubbornly glad I kept at it- I’m actually happy I stuck with this company — weird, I know, but hear me out. I ordered a 9-pack for my Epson 786 back in spring because I always like to be ahead of the game. Fast forward a few changes later and some cartridges wouldn’t register; then one day a magenta leaked a bit onto my hardwood and a couple just wouldn’t click in no matter how many times I tried. Annoying, for sure. I called support, explained the mess, and after a few calls and some frustration the tech agreed to replace the bad ones. It didn’t happen instantly, there was back-and-forth and a moment where they said I’d already had too many replacements and warranty time was up — that was frustrating and they could’ve been clearer. Still, in the end they did send a replacement set and offered a small credit, which fixed everything and saved me from buying a whole new printer. So yeah, imperfect experience, but it turned out okay and I’m grateful they made it right. My tip: check cartridges right away when they arrive, save photos and order info, and don’t give up — be polite but persistent.
- Finally got one that actually worked- I needed ink fast. Moving day and I had to print labels and a stack of forms. I ordered a big batch because the listing said it matched the brand. At first it was a mess. Colors were flat. Not what I needed. Some cartridges arrived half full, at least that’s what the printer reported. One new color only printed green. I reached out to support. Nothing back. Still, I kept going, swapping cartridges, trying different slots. Then, oddly enough, one cartridge from the same box started printing like the real thing. Skin tones were right. Blues looked like blues. That was the moment I knew I could finish the job. It was a quiet relief. Not perfect overall. There were gaps and a few bad pieces. But the surprise good cartridge saved the worst day. If you need reliable bulk ink for important stuff, I’d be cautious. If you just need to get through a move or a short project, you might get lucky. I was surprised, in a small way, and that mattered.
- The "we'll replace them" moment- one cartridge leaked bright red ink on my wood floor (do not recommend), and three others wouldn't snap into place anymore. I fiddled, I rebooted, I jabbed at them like a fool. I called again. This time the tech also said they'd replace the four faulty cartridges, so I stopped worrying and waited. They never arrived. Then I was told later that I'd already had "too many" replacements and that the purchase was outside some warranty window — something they never mentioned before. No notice. Boxes didn't say Epson either, which seemed odd. I've bought from them before with no issues. I liked the quick promise, but the follow-through was weak and that left me more annoyed than anything.
- Printer cartridges that gave me pause- two color and one black — and honestly I pictured the usual gamble. The package arrived on time and at first I was hopeful. Installed them, ran a test, and the colors were off. I tried the usual stuff: cleaning cycles, alignment, multiple test prints. Nothing really fixed it. That’s when my patience ran out and I tossed the bad ones, which in hindsight I probably shouldn’t have done. I emailed support and they actually replied with troubleshooting steps and offered to send replacements. That calmed me a bit. I liked that they answered, and they didn’t just copy-paste a line. Still, I felt a little let down that the first set failed — it’s annoying to waste time on this. I do think their customer service tried to help, and that effort matters. If they’d done some better quality checks before shipping I might’ve skipped the whole back-and-forth. Bottom line: I had doubts before buying and part of them were right, but some disappeared once support stepped in and tried to fix it. I’m cautiously optimistic now. I’ll give them another shot because the support was responsive, but I also hope they tighten up quality control so others don’t go through the same hassle. A little frustration mixed with appreciation — that’s my feeling.
- Toner tango at my kitchen table- wrong model numbers on the parts, and every print came out smeared or jammed. I had to pop open the rear of the printer more times than I care to admit — not exactly the relaxing Saturday I pictured.
I’m the sort of person who pokes around gear (old electronics tech, so I like to tinker), so I wasn’t buying into instant sabotage — but it smelled off. I contacted support and, after a bit of back-and-forth where they wanted me to test opened cartridges (which I didn’t love doing), they eventually sent a replacement without making it a huge fight. The second set actually fit, powered up the machine properly, and printing went from disaster to normal — not perfect like factory originals maybe, but solid for everyday use: invoices, school worksheets, a few photos that came out surprisingly decent.
So — doubts? Mostly gone after the replacements arrived. The process was clunky, and I wish they’d been right the first time, and I wish the customer service wasn’t so pushy about “open it and prove it” before offering help. Still, for the price I paid they delivered in the end and saved me money. If you’re willing to be patient and maybe a little assertive with support, it can work out. If not, stick with the OEM. Lesson learned: be cautious, keep receipts, and don’t let them rush you into opening everything.
- Half-great cartridges — prints nicely when they do- good print quality and easy setup, but inconsistent reliability. If you need dependable, nonstop printing for something critical, this might make you nervous. For casual or occasional heavy use — like my move — it’ll do the job most of the time and looks good doing it. I’d buy again but maybe only after checking return/replacement policies or buying one at a time to test. Overall happy with the output, frustrated with the flaky units.
- That weird moment it finally worked- wrong fit, paper jam every other page, and a weird gray smear like my printer sneezed toner. I was pretty sure I’d been sold the wrong parts. So I sat there, half annoyed, half ready to write an angry email, because every time I tried to print, I had to open the back and fish out crumpled paper. Not great. I called support with a skeptical tone (yes, I said “I know my way around a copier”), explained what happened, and expected the usual runaround. They did ask me to test a couple more cartridges — I wasn’t thrilled about prying open packaging, but okay, I did it. After that, there was a pause where I honestly thought this was going nowhere. But then someone escalated it, sent replacement parts fast, and offered a prepaid return label for the ones that didn’t fit. The replacements arrived, I installed them (careful this time), and — this is the moment — the first clean page rolled out. No jam. No smear. Just a normal, boring perfect print. I remember thinking, “Oh, that’s what it’s supposed to do.” Felt stupidly relieved. The turnaround wasn’t instant, and there were annoying phone menus and a little back-and-forth, but in the end they fixed it without making a big fuss. Would I use them again? Maybe — with a slightly guarded optimism. If you know your printer and are ready to push a little, they’ll usually make it right. If you’re not into troubleshooting, maybe not. Overall, started skeptical, got pleasantly surprised, and that one clean page was worth the hassle.
- Small scare, big recovery- Okay, so I gotta tell you — I almost stopped buying from these folks because of a weird streak. I’d been ordering their printer cartridges for a while and never had trouble, but a couple months ago I opened a two-pack and one cartridge just...didn’t work. Annoying, sure, but fine — I messaged support and they shipped a replacement. That made me feel better, so I placed another order this month. And then, of all things, the same problem happened again. My first reaction was that maybe I was cursed, or my printer was finally done, or—more likely—there was a bad batch. I hesitated to reach out at first; I didn’t want a fight, but I also didn’t want to waste money.
- That slow “aha” moment when things finally worked- I actually bought these cartridges because a coworker swore by 1ink — said she saved a ton and never had a problem. So I figured, why not try it? Opened the box at my kitchen counter (because of course that’s where printer drama lives) and thought, “Alright, cheap toner, let’s do this.” First prints out of the gate told a different story. The pages came out streaked top to bottom, like someone dragged a thumb through wet ink. Corners were folded and crimped on every sheet, and inside the printer I could see toner smudges on the rollers. It was like a tiny powdery crime scene.
- The toner that wore out my patience- I bought their 2-pack toner twice, and on both occasions one cartridge in the pair arrived dead. The first time they did send a replacement after I called, which I appreciated — that part worked, no fuss. The second time, though, it turned into a mess and that’s the part I want to flag because it felt less like a mistake and more like their usual way of handling complaints.
- Not buying these again- I’m not ordering from this company again — and that’s after a long, slow tug-of-war to get my money back. I’ll say up front why: the aftermarket toner I bought leaked, ruined prints, started to cake up inside the printer, and then customer support gave me the runaround and only a partial refund until my bank stepped in. Okay, so now the story. I’ve got an HP laser at home that I use for a mix of work stuff and random household printouts — invoices, recipes, the occasional coloring sheet for the kid — so reliability matters. I figured, why not try cheaper, non-OEM cartridges? First time I ever did that for this machine. Rookie move, maybe, but I didn’t expect what followed. The replacement cartridges went in and within the first handful of pages the pages came out streaked top to bottom. Then I noticed toner on the rollers and even on some gearing — like this powdery black mess where it shouldn’t be. Every single print had nasty streaks and the top corner would fold or crimp, sort of like the cartridge was dragging on something. It was obvious fast that something was wrong. I tried the usual: remove, re-seat, run a few test pages, hoping it would settle in. No luck. Over a couple of days I printed maybe 50 pages total trying to see if the problem would clear up. It didn’t. None of the pages were usable, and the toner kept building up in places it shouldn’t. That caking looked like it could damage the internal parts if I kept going. So I swapped the aftermarket cartridges back out for the HP OEM set that I had on standby. Instant night-and-day — prints normal, no streaks, no crimping, the printer behaving like it was supposed to all along. So yeah, the aftermarket set was defective in my experience. Now the customer support saga. I reached out to the seller and after a handful of emails they finally agreed to accept a return, but it took a lot of back-and-forth and I had to provide photos and documentation proving the leaks and the mess inside the printer. They kept saying their tests would include reading the microchip and that many problems are actually printer faults, which felt like them shifting blame. They also warned they could deny a refund if they decided too much toner had been used. That’s exactly why I printed the Supplies Status page from my HP — it shows how much toner each cartridge used and how many pages were printed — and I recommend anyone in this situation do the same. For my records it showed the cartridges had registered about 2% toner used over roughly 50 pages. Still, none of those pages were salvageable. After they received the returned cartridges the company issued only a partial refund, which they themselves noted in their emails. I wasn’t satisfied, so I opened a dispute with my credit card company, submitted the same photos and the printer’s supplies report, and after their review the bank issued a full chargeback. So in the end I got my money back, but only because I escalated beyond the seller. The whole thing took months to resolve. Along the way I read their reply to a review I’d posted elsewhere, where they emphasized that cartridges are often returned “used” and suggested the problem is frequently the printer. Sure, cartridges are used when you test them, but you don’t know whether a cartridge is defective until you put it in and print. All three color cartridges in my set were leaking badly and contaminating the paper and the mechanics. One more practical note: if you plan to return cartridges and you want a fair shot at a refund, print your printer’s supplies/usage report and keep photos — it helped me prove my case. I’ll admit I was skeptical about going aftermarket to save a few bucks, and that skepticism turned into frustration when the prints failed and then into mild satisfaction when the bank eventually sided with me. I’m happy to have the full credit back, but annoyed that it required so much effort and time, and a real worry that the leaking toner could have caused longer-term damage to the printer. If you value hassle-free customer support and a product that won’t risk your hardware, I’d recommend sticking with OEM or at least buying aftermarket from a source you completely trust — not from this seller in my experience.
- Defective printer ink purchase- I recently bought some printer ink from this company and let me tell you, it was a total letdown. The black ink came out super faded on the first page I tried to print, making it totally useless. And to top it off, the blue ink was all messed up and misaligned during printing. I didn't even bother trying out the magenta or yellow inks. I decided to return the product for a refund, but unfortunately, they only gave me back part of the money. I'm still waiting on an explanation for why that happened. It seems like others have gone through similar situations, so I might have to take it up with my credit card company to make sure I get a full refund.
- Cartridge purchase- I have been buying cartridges from this company for a long time and never had any problems until now. Lately, I've gotten a bunch of defective cartridges and trying to get help from the company has been a nightmare. The customer service folks are not making it easy to fix the problem, and I've lost a lot of money because of these faulty products. I'm really upset about the lack of support and quality control from this company, so I wouldn't recommend buying from them.
- Printer ink purchase issue- The printer ink I bought was a total dud. The magenta cartridge was busted and started leaking all over the place, making a huge mess. I contacted the company right away to ask for my money back or a new ink cartridge. It's really putting a damper on my work because I can't print anything until all 4 cartridges are working right.
- Just bought a new black ink cartridge- The new black ink cartridge I got ended up being a total lemon! It's only printing half lines, and when I tried to reach out to customer service, they had me leave an email with my complaints. But here's the kicker - the email won't even go through! It's a complete scam, especially considering how much I shelled out for this HP cartridge. I'm never buying from this website again, that's for sure.
- Ink cartridges for printer- I just bought some ink cartridges for my printer from this company, but sadly, they were all messed up. They wouldn't stay in place and kept causing the printer to jam up, so I couldn't even use them. I had to send them back, which was a big hassle and cost me a bunch of money. Not only did I have to pay for shipping to send them back, but there were extra fees that I didn't know about when I bought them. It was a real letdown - the product quality was lousy, and the customer service wasn't much better.
- Toner cartridges for HP printer- I bought some toner cartridges for my HP printer from this company, but they turned out to be defective. They ended up leaking toner all over my printer, messing up the prints, and even causing pages to fold and crimp. I tried to work things out with 1ink, but after several failed attempts, I had to take it up with my bank to get my money back. If you care about quality and good customer service, I suggest finding another place to get your toner.
