After my neighbor pointed me toward Stark in Charlotte, I ended up with their Australian wool sisal. It feels sturdy underfoot but still warm, and the stain treatment saved us after a popsicle incident. Not the cheapest option, honestly, but it’s held up nicely with kids around.
Wool Was the Right Call
Honestly, I expected the sales pitch to be a little too rosy, but our new wool carpet has been great. My wife and I wanted to replace synthetics throughout the house, partly for comfort and peace of mind. Andrew walked us through it, and 1,500 square feet later, we're happy.
Carpet's comfy, paperwork was messy
Didn't expect to be this picky but the carpet actually feels great underfoot — soft, not too plush, just right for the living room. Lauren was awesome, answered texts, calls and emails. We hit a snag when the original salesperson left, so details got shuffled, but installers finished and I'm happy it worked out.

Decent selection, slow quoting
I needed new flooring after a move and they had what I wanted, so that was fine. The quote process was a mess though — took ages, figures changed (sq ft price different than in person). Sales rep turnover didn’t help; last guy, Denny, was painfully slow with proposals. Frustrating but usable.
Cautiously surprised
Walked in skeptical after reading a nasty review, figured it might be one of those design shops that favors its own crew over clients. Turns out the staff were straightforward, helpful and not snobby. It's a vendor that knows designers and clients; my doubts mostly faded. Had worse experiences elsewhere.
