I was stuffing it for a quick overnight trip when it hit me — this bag actually works. I had been annoyed at first (the site implies a dedicated laptop sleeve; turns out "pocket" meant the main compartment), and I did have a back-and-forth with support about it. But tucking my 15–16" laptop into a felt sleeve, sliding in a pair of shoes and a change of clothes, and zipping it shut felt... solid. The leather looks nicer every day, the straps are comfy for my subway commute, and yes it's a bit less organized than a real weekender with dividers, but it gets the job done. So I'm surprised and kind of glad I kept it — not perfect, but useful, reliable, and oddly satisfying for daily use.
Lock drama, slow support but it worked out
annoying service, but I’m actually relieved it ended without losing anything. A friend tipped me off to this brand on a travel forum, so I bought one after seeing a demo in a shop. First impressions were fine, so I told myself it was a good buy. Then, five weeks later, I came home and couldn’t open the suitcase — everything packed inside, and the lock just wouldn’t accept any of the numbers. I spent ages trying codes, called a few times, emailed, and kept getting the same canned reply: try 000 to 999. I told them multiple times that the code still works on the other side and that I’d tried every number they suggested, but the responses stayed identical. It felt like talking to a script. I pressed about practical fixes—can I use a TSA key, can the lock be reset without the code?—and they only answered the generic stuff for a while. In the end they actually offered a repair option and some clear steps after I pushed back, so yeah, relieved. Not great customer service overall, but at least it didn’t turn into a total disaster.
Nice at first, then let down
I actually liked it from the start. I saw it in a small shop at the airport and thought, wow — this looks sharp. Took it on a quick business trip and that first carousel moment was satisfying; no scratches, smooth wheels, and the lining didn't look chewed. I even told a colleague to check them out. So yeah, I was sold—at least for a minute. The surprise was how light it felt without seeming flimsy. Then on the third outing a corner caved in. I filed a lifetime guarantee claim and got told that damage while the airline had it is "carrier mishandling," so that doesn't count. So the guarantee is basically useless unless it explodes at home, which is silly. For the price I expected better reinforcement. Customer service should have been decent but wasn't. They defended policy instead of helping. Still, the case looks great and rolls well, and that first trip had me happily recommending it. Just be aware the warranty feels like marketing copy.
Worth the gamble (mostly)

I reached out to customer service and they were quick to reply and offered a warranty repair (no refund, because I was past their 60‑day window). I’m not totally happy about not getting a refund, but their responsiveness soothed me a bit. What surprised me in a good way was how good it looks after a light conditioner — nicer than I thought it would age. My advice: if you buy, treat the leather gently and maybe get a protective product. I’ll update this if the repair fixes everything, but right now I’d say it’s a decent buy with some caveats.

For occasional short trips it still gets used, but I pack carefully and bring duct tape as a backup (don’t judge). If you’re buying mainly for looks and smooth rolling, fine. If you want reliable, stress-free closures when you’re running to a gate, I’d be wary.
