    Birthday sock letdown

I wouldn't recommend them. I ordered two pairs of socks on Dec 2 for my daughter's friend's 8th birthday and paid for express so they'd arrive well before Dec 19 — that was the whole point. They didn't show up until Jan 4. When I opened them they felt cheap, looked way too big (they were big on my feet), and the photo print was fuzzy and uneven. I checked them on my feet — seams were loose. I tried to make it work as a gift but it just felt wrong. Kinda bummed and annoyed; won't order from them again.

    Digital showed up, physical didn't

the digital copy arrived fine, but the physical item never did. I ordered on January 30th with a February 6 delivery date, and by March 5 there was still nothing to show for it. They let you download a digital version and then treat the rest like it’s done. Tried to cancel and was told it's "custom" so no refund — support didn't help. The reviews look oddly polished, which I’ve seen elsewhere before. So yeah, it's usable if you only need the file, but don't count on getting the actual product. I fell for it once.

    A small, perfect surprise

the website made it easy and the preview looked honest, not overly polished. I messed with the pose choices more than I should’ve. They asked good follow-up questions and were patient. The box arrived sooner than I expected, and when I propped the canvas on the mantel and walked away, I caught myself smiling — that’s the exact moment I knew I was really happy with it. It isn’t flawless — the tones were a bit warmer than my screen showed and there was one small detail I would’ve changed — but it nailed her expression and energy. We’ve given pieces to friends, and gotten one for our new pup too. Service was helpful, shipping fast, and the price felt fair for something this personal.

A Christmas that arrived late, but worth it

my coworker had sent me the link a month earlier, said "you have to get this," and I finally bit. They promised pre-Christmas delivery; nope, it crept along like molasses and customer support sounded like a chatbot on repeat. But the moment I knew I was actually satisfied was when my eight‑year‑old tore into the paper a week later and froze. She touched the painting, laughed at the way the artist nailed our eldest's goofy ear and even the one tiny white whisker I thought was gone. I wasn't expecting that level of detail. The canvas felt nicer than the price suggested, and for all the slow shipping and canned apologies, the finished portrait made the wait sting less. Also, our beagle now uses the box as a throne, which is hilarious. Would I buy again? Yes—just not as a time‑sensitive present.

    Delivery disaster turned bank dispute

Okay, bit of a long one — I ordered a keepsake for my daughter, said 4–8 weeks on the site, and that was the start of the circus. Weeks went by, I asked twice, got the same canned reply each time, and then radio silence. Eventually I decided to stop waiting and opened a dispute with my bank because I still don’t have the item and nobody gave me a real update. They offered a partial refund only — half — which felt like being stuck between a rock and a merchant who doesn’t care. I’ve had sketchy experiences with other companies before, but this one somehow managed to mix ghosting and cheap replies into one. On the plus side, the bank process is moving, and customer service replies (when they come) are polite, if useless. So yeah, not the worst part of my month but definitely a waste of $200+ and a lesson learned. If you value clear delivery and actual people answering you, I’d be cautious here.

    Decent socks, messy process

when the socks finally arrived they were better than I expected — good print, no major defects, and the fabric was actually comfy. That surprised me, honestly. So, product-wise, thumbs up; logistics and communication, thumbs down. If you’re thinking about ordering, ask about expedited options up front and keep an eye on charges at checkout. I probably won’t risk another holiday order here, unless they sort out the tracking and customer service.

    Late hat, no accountability

this was a disappointment. I expected a simple print-on-demand hat to arrive in time. It didn’t. I first found Crown & Paw through a Facebook ad and, honestly, I even told a friend about their portraits a while back because that previous order went great. So I went in with some trust. Order placed on Dec 11. Confirmation said 2–3 days production, then shipping. That was the promise. By Dec 17 I asked where it was. I got an email saying it was ready to ship. Then a couple days later Instagram and email said it was still in production. Mixed signals. I also noticed the package shipped from Printful, which was fine, but it showed it wasn’t moving fast. By Dec 19 I was asking how to get it here for Christmas — they were still running ads saying custom orders would arrive in time. On Dec 20 they said DHL expedited, which still meant handoff to USPS and a 2–5 day window. It finally showed up on Dec 26. Too late, obviously. I had already bought a different gift. What bothered me more than the delay was the back-and-forth from customer service: vague replies, what felt like templated answers, and no real ownership. When I asked to return it since it wasn’t useful anymore, they denied the return. That lack of accountability was the kicker. For fairness, I will say my older custom portrait from them was excellent — quick turnaround and good support — so I was genuinely surprised by how different this experience was. If you need something time-sensitive, don’t rely on the advertised timelines. If you’re buying a custom portrait and not time-pressured, they might still do a good job. But for print-on-demand items with promises of holiday delivery, I wouldn’t count on it.

    Mailbox anxiety turned relief

their website promised delivery by Christmas (big banner and all), so I was annoyed. On the flip side, the company did follow through eventually and I’m honestly glad it wasn’t lost. So, mixed feelings — annoyed with the delivery timing, grateful it showed up and that support answered my questions. I’d order again but I’d give myself more buffer time next time.

    Late hat, muddled replies

I asked to return it since it arrived after the holiday and was told it wasn't returnable, even though their site states clothing and accessories can be returned. That contradiction and the refusal left me annoyed. I also mentioned a past order years ago — a custom portrait that had been done quickly with proofs and good service — which made this experience more disappointing by comparison. I did tell a friend I might order again, but I'm wary. Overall, product okay, delivery and support need fixing.
