Rugby merchandise
I recently bought some rugby gear after the 6 Nations tournament and got it delivered pretty quickly. But, I was bummed out when I saw they snuck in extra fees for shipping and handling. When I wanted to return something, I had to hunt through the website to find the Returns Portal, only to learn that I had to use their postage method, which meant I'd have to shell out at least £6.10 for shipping for a return that would take a week at least. It seems like this company is trying to squeeze every dime out of rugby fans, just like the RFU does.
3/4 length padded rugby coat
I got this rugby coat last November for a hundred bucks, but man, it's falling apart already. Only wore it a few times last season and a few more this season, and the lining on the inside seams is just shot. For the amount I shelled out, this kind of quality is a major letdown. And to top it off, the store's policy on wear and tear is only good for 6 months no matter what, which is pretty lame. Their customer service wasn't much help either. Next time, I'm definitely going to shop around for something better.
RWC top purchase
I just got my wife a Rugby World Cup top from this store in July. They said it would come in 3-5 days, awesome because it was supposed to be a birthday present for her to wear during the games. But then they changed it to early September, and now it's mid-September. If it keeps going this way, the World Cup will be over before we even get the top. If England gets knocked out before then, I'm sending it back for sure.
Rugby gear
The England Rugby Store has a ton of rugby gear, which is really cool, but my experience was pretty meh overall. The website talked a big game about all the stuff they had, but when I looked closer, a bunch of things were actually sold out. It was annoying because I had some specific things I really wanted to buy.
Bought awesome rugby socks
I almost bought a hoodie, but then I realized the shop was run by a sketchy company. Luckily, I checked out the reviews and dodged a bullet. Ended up snagging some awesome rugby socks instead that are not only comfy but also look great. The website had a bunch of cool stuff to check out, but man, I wish they had a more reputable partner running the show. Hopefully, the store finds a better company to team up with soon, so customers can have a smoother shopping experience for their rugby gear.
Rugby gear purchase
I was really pumped to buy some rugby gear from this store, thinking I'd get top-of-the-line quality and service. But man, was I let down. I had to return something because it didn't fit right, and not only did I have to pay for shipping, but I got hit with another fee that just bummed me out. I was expecting more from a place that brags about being all about rugby.
Rugby apparel purchase
What a disaster of an experience! I ordered some rugby gear and was super pumped to get it. But then I got an email saying my package was on its way, followed quickly by another saying it was being sent back because of a failed delivery. When I reached out to customer service through chat, they told me it would take a whole 3 weeks to get a refund. And to top it all off, when I asked about filing a complaint, they said there wasn't even a procedure for that! Customer service was a total joke.
Oversized jumper purchase
The whole ordering thing was a disaster. The jumper I got was way smaller than what was shown online. And, on top of that, I couldn't believe how crazy expensive it was to send it back using their service. I found out I could've sent it for half the cost if I just used Royal Mail myself. It was such a terrible shopping experience, I definitely won't be buying from them again.
Reversible hats with dirty white side and expensive delivery
I was so disappointed when I received these reversible hats and the white side was dirty. And if that weren't bad enough, I had to pay a handling charge on top of the already pricey fast delivery fee. Talk about a rip-off! I needed these hats in a hurry for my trip to France, so getting poor quality items was a major letdown. I thought about lodging a complaint, but after checking out other reviews, it seemed like it wouldn't even be worth it. I'm not going to fork over more cash just to send them back.
England Rugby jersey
I had a really bad experience with this company. I ordered an England Rugby jersey and even though they took my payment, my order just sat there for 10 days with no movement. I tried to reach out to customer service through email, but my email got sent back. The phone line wasn't working and the chat feature wasn't connecting me to a real person. I ended up having to open a PayPal case to get a refund. It's obvious that this company can't or won't fulfill orders on time. I suggest staying away from this company and any others run by the same people.
Recent shopping experience
I had a really disappointing shopping experience at the store recently. I used to love buying directly from the England Rugby store because it was always so easy and fun. But lately, I've noticed that things have changed for the worse. It seems like a different company is running the show now, and it's definitely not as good. Adding a handling fee to every order was a surprise and not a good one - most places don't do that. And don't even get me started on the £6 return fee and how slow they are with refunds. It's making me think twice about shopping there again in the future.

Sweatshirt in wrong size
I ordered a sweatshirt in size medium, but when it got here, it was way too big - more like an XL! And to top it off, the return shipping fees were crazy high and they wouldn’t refund them. Waiting for the refund seemed like it took forever, which was annoying. All in all, pretty disappointing.
Hoodie
I just bought a hoodie from the store on Black Friday, but it ended up being way too big when it showed up. I even checked the size chart and got my usual size, but it was still oversized. On top of that, I had to shell out an extra $5.90 just to send it back for a refund. It was irritating to have to pay so much for shipping and returns when the problem wasn't even my fault. Hopefully, the store will do better with their sizing in the future to avoid this kind of thing happening again.
Bought rugby gear
Man, I ordered some rugby stuff, but trying to return it was such a hassle! I sent it back on March 3rd and it's been a whole month and I still haven't gotten my money back. They keep telling me they're gonna check on it, but who knows when that'll actually happen. And on top of that, I had to pay extra to return it through their stupid partner "Intelligent Returns." Ugh, I'm never shopping here again!
