I saw the box at a friend's house and had to try it. Filled my cart, then blanked on the promo code — classic. Delivery was fast, courier friendly, customer service took a bit to reply though. Told my sister, she'll try
Repeat customer blues
I keep ordering because delivery’s usually on time (driver nice), but customer service treated me like a ghost — only new sign-ups get the deals. Kinda ridiculous. Would love a loyalty perk; heads-up to others.
Rushed order, no show
I needed this for a meeting and paid extra to rush it, but it never showed. Paid about $90 total and now I'm scrambling without it. Feels like a product that never existed. Not the worst thing, but I'd order somewhere else next time, for sure.
Needed it, never showed
Right when I needed it most—mid-move and with a sore back—I checked the tracking and there was no update, no knock. They took $60 and $30 for expedited shipping, promised a time-sensitive delivery, but customer service went quiet. Product could've been okay, but the delivery ruined it.
Almost didn't expect it
Funny, I nearly didn't expect it — been burned by other suppliers before, but the meds arrived on time, every single time. Their reps are polite, actual people on the line, not robots, and they helped when I had a question. Prices beat everyone else I checked, so yeah, I'll keep ordering.
Almost skipped, glad I didn't
setup was fast, the checkout worked, and I could delete my account afterward, which I didn't expect. Delivery was quick and there was a small, thoughtful extra in the box. If you’re wary like me, try it once—just wish guest checkout was an option.
Midnight dachshund meds
crazy low prices, I almost hung up thinking it was a mistake. Orders keep arriving fast despite them being across the country, and once I even got a tiny free sample. Cheap, reliable, honestly surprising.
Cheap fix, clunky clicks
I figured I'd try them because, well, cheap dog meds sounded too good to pass up. I worried about reordering prescriptions — would it be a headache? Turns out the meds arrive on time and my pup actually approved with a tail wag, so that worry eased. But the refill process online is still a mess, lots of clicking and guessing dates, ugh. Still use it for everyday meds though, saves money and keeps us sane-ish.
I almost canceled
I almost canceled the second order after the first one arrived late and I had to call to get it moving. Still, I gave them another shot — waited five business days, kept checking my account, nothing shipped. After I finally called, they said the item wasn't in stock (no email, no call). To be fair, when it did arrive the meds were correct and packaged well, so quality was fine, but the silence cost them my trust.
Don't rely on their timing
If your dog is sick, don’t count on them — shipping and communication are the problem, though the meds themselves arrived fine. I get monthly heart meds for my older dog, and it’s nerve-wracking to wait with no status updates. Second order sat for five business days, nothing on my account, had to call and then was told it wasn’t even in stock. Frustrating. Weirdly, when it did arrive it was correct and well packed, so mixed feelings.
Good meds, bad timing
I actually found this pharmacy on a neighborhood Facebook group — a friend had recommended it, so I tried it when my cat needed an urgent prescription. Vet faxed it over and then silence. Five days went by with no update even after I asked them to call my vet. I ended up canceling because it wasn’t getting filled fast enough to help my cat. They barely answered email (one reply after almost two days) and never picked up voicemail — I left three messages. Oddly, a week later and after canceling, the package arrived overnight. The meds themselves were fine, simple packaging and easy to give, but the response time sunk it for me.
Ten days 'til calm
I remember pacing the living room, cat whining, me checking the tracking like it was a thriller. I ordered meds and then... silence. They called back to say they found a dose error and fixed it, which was fine, except they then sat on it for days. I called twice. Promises were made. Promises were slow. The turning point was when the box finally showed up and my cat actually stopped hiding under the couch. Instant relief. Not ecstatic, just relieved — that exact moment when you stop holding your breath. I’ve had faster service from places overseas, oddly enough. So yeah, skeptical at first, then satisfied once it arrived. Would I go back? Maybe, but only if they speed things up next time.
Staring at the tracking number, sighing
I was staring at the tracking number more than once, waiting, thinking maybe it'll move — it didn't. Delivery was the whole problem for me. They kept giving flimsy reasons for delays, and calls would only get answered after I raised my voice, which is frustrating. I get that things happen, but this was months of slow responses and excuses. Customer service felt defensive, like they were protecting a process instead of helping a worried pet owner. I did stick around because the price was hard to beat, and honestly that kept me going longer than I should have. Compared to other places I've tried, where they at least answer the phone or ship on time, this one falls short. I asked to transfer my dog's prescription and then radio silence — that was the last straw. So yeah, cheap is nice, but not when you need meds reliably. Still, if cost is your only concern and you can tolerate waiting and extra follow-up, you might save some money. Me? I'll probably pay more somewhere that actually shows up when it counts.
Not for urgent pet meds
don't rely on them for time-sensitive meds. I wish they'd be clearer about response times.
Ten days later, relief finally showed up
glad it worked out, but don’t expect rush delivery if your pet needs urgent care — call them.
Not going back — zero sympathy
I won’t be buying from them again. We lost our 20-year-old cat a few days ago and I still had an automatic refill of 50 mg gabapentin arrive — unopened — because I had plenty left. I offered to return the box, explained what happened, and asked for a refund. They flat-out refused. That felt... cold. Meanwhile Chewy and Covetrus refunded me immediately and even suggested donating the meds to a shelter; Chewy sent flowers, which honestly meant a lot. I picked this vendor only because they were the only place I could find 50 mg tablets — everything else was 100 mg capsules that are awkward to split for a tiny senior cat. I get costs and policies, but there’s a difference between rules and basic compassion. I give my meds daily to help him stay comfortable, and after we lost him I hoped for a little human response. So yeah, practical reasons I used them, but their response turned me off entirely. Sad about the cat and annoyed at how business was handled.
Not what I expected
full refunds, suggestions to donate the meds, and even flowers from Chewy that actually helped more than I expected. Practical note about the meds: 50 mg tablets are easier to dose accurately than trying to split 100 mg capsules, which is why I ordered the smaller strength in the first place. So my gripe is mainly with the customer care, not the product feel — the tablets seem fine. I’m glad other companies were decent when I needed it, and grateful for that support. But I won’t go back to Heartland after this; the refusal to refund was disappointing.
Finally a win for my pup
awesome price, kind of clumsy communication. There were a couple of times I had to chase them, wait on hold, or follow up twice, and yeah that annoyed me. But the turning point came on a random Tuesday: I called in a refill, they processed it same day, and I walked in to pick it up and it was ready. That small thing — no runaround, no waiting — made me feel like they actually had their act together. Since then most refills have been on time, staff started recognizing my dog’s file, and I relaxed a lot. It’s not flawless — sometimes replies lag and there's still a little friction — but given the savings and the steadier service lately, I’m satisfied. If you can tolerate a bit of back-and-forth sometimes, the trade-off is worth it. I’ll stick with them for now.
Nearly lost my dog over a recalled bag
it turned out the new bag from the vet pharmacy was part of a recall. What really gets me is that I only found out about the recall when I went to reorder and the item was suddenly out of stock. No call, no email, nothing. That’s the detail I’m going to harp on: the pharmacy's recall notification was nonexistent, and that mattered — a lot. My dog was in pain, we spent money and sleepless nights, and honestly at one point we were talking about worst-case decisions. That was terrifying. On the flip side, before this incident the food had been doing its job and the staff at the front desk were friendly when I showed up at the clinic. So it's not all doom and gloom — they have some things right — but for anything that affects an animal’s health, automatic recall alerts should be standard. If you use this place, double-check lot numbers and call to confirm your batch, keep receipts, and maybe have a backup food source just in case. I wish they’d fix their communication system; that would go a long way. For now, I’m wary and I’m telling others because nobody should end up scrambling like we did.
Sick cat meds
Oh man, my cat was seriously struggling because Heartland took forever to send the medicine! I ordered it on May 5th and didn't get it until May 15th - can you believe that? Ten whole days of my poor kitty suffering while I was freaking out. I even had to call them twice just to figure out where the meds were. Not cool, Heartland, not cool at all. They really need to get their act together if they want to be helping sick animals!
