Hotel booking cancellation issue
I had a pretty disappointing experience with a hotel booking I made through Japanican. Ok, so I cancelled my reservation in October for a hotel stay on November 30th because I didn't want to be charged. I even got an email confirming the cancellation and saw it was gone from my account. But then on November 28th, Japanican hit me up about the booking. I told them I cancelled and asked them to update their system since I couldn't check my emails while traveling. Despite all that, they still said I'd be charged for a 'No Show', which just didn't seem fair to me or the hotel.
Booking experience
I had a really bad experience with this company. The customer service people were no help at all and couldn't even handle basic requests. I ended up feeling super frustrated and let down by the service I got. I definitely wouldn't suggest this company to anyone.
Tours & hotel bookings in Japan
Well, that was a real letdown! I was super pumped to use this site to plan my tours and hotel stays, especially after hearing all the hype. But man, my experience was anything but great. I booked a couple of tours and a hotel stay for my trip to Japan. Let me tell ya, those tours were just meh - they didn't live up to the hype at all. The guides seemed like they couldn't care less, and overall, it was a big ol' snooze fest. And don't even get me started on the hotel stay. The room was tiny and looked like it was stuck in the past, and the service was just not up to par. I was expecting so much more, but sadly, I was left feeling totally bummed out and disappointed.
Hotel booking
I just booked a hotel using this website and man, was I let down by their cancellation policy. They claimed my reservation had free cancellation but turns out it was prepaid. I caught onto the error and canceled on the spot, only to be told it could take 2 months to get my money back. On top of that, they might hit me with a fee and deal with exchange rate issues when giving me my refund.
Room booking issue
I tried booking a hotel room on this site, and everything seemed fine until after I paid. Then, I got an error message saying there was an issue with the confirmation of my booking. I refreshed the page and tried to pay again, only to get the same error. I was starting to worry that they took my money without actually booking the room for me.

I attempted to book through this place, and let me tell you, it was a disaster! The website was confusing, like a maze - I had to attempt changing my contact info three times! And when they messed up my room reservation, it was a nightmare trying to get a refund. I had to bring in my credit card company to help me get my money back! Seriously, where's the customer service in all of that?
