Weekends that suddenly were “mandatory.” People were watched more than trusted. It felt like they assumed everyone was slacking unless proven otherwise. They installed monitoring on company laptops that was way beyond what I’d seen elsewhere. It logged idle time, clicks, even stuff that touched personal folders. That led to unexplained pay cuts. They justified salary deductions with those reports, even when work was done and deadlines met. It looked like a cost-control move rather than a performance assessment. Contracts on paper didn’t match what happened in practice. Final settlements were delayed and then adjusted down. Promises made during hiring were ignored. When you ask about it, you get vague answers or silence. There’s a lot of extra work piled on too. Overtime was common, but extra compensation wasn’t. People complained. Managers blamed processes. The codebase was messy. No consistent structure across teams. Documentation was almost non-existent, so onboarding or handing off tasks was a nightmare. Everything depended on a few senior developers — who often weren’t reachable — which slowed things to a crawl. Customer-facing work suffered from the same chaos. On the plus side, a few teammates tried hard and some projects shipped. That kept me going at times. I left with relief, but also a small respect for those who managed to make progress despite the mess. If you’re hiring them as a vendor, know this: internal dysfunction bled into delivery. If you’re applying for a job, go in only if you have no other options and you can tolerate bad processes. I would not recommend relying on them for stable, respectful employment or for predictable, well-documented work.
