website was clear and checkout quick. Then tracking went weird, UPS said to file a claim and the package never showed. I called and emailed customer service several times over ten days; every rep dodged responsibility, kept saying a manager would call, and nobody ever did. I finally disputed the charge with my card company and when the refund hit I actually felt satisfied and relieved. Funny enough, the bank was more helpful than the seller.
Worth every mile
Opened the box and honestly, the first thing that hit me was how solid and fresh the cigars felt — still in factory cellos, no mess, wrappers firm, like they’d just left the humidor. I live about 1,600 miles away and still got my last order in four days (ordered Monday afternoon, showed up Friday). Shipping’s fast, packing is clean, and the draw on these is exactly what I like. Prices beat auctions I used to chase, and rewards take a chunk off too. Asked a question on a Sunday and got an answer in fifteen minutes — that actually surprised me. I’m picky, but I’ll keep ordering. Give them a try; hope they stay this consistent. Makes me oddly happy, really, and kind of relieved.
Kept coming back
I'm happy to keep buying here — the service matters more to me than hunting for the cheapest price. Sol is the main reason. She treats you like a person, not just an order number, whether I'm grabbing one stick or a whole box. She actually remembers what I like and will suggest something — never pushy, just helpful. Jason in shipping is solid too; my packages get packed right and show up when they say they will. I mean, sure, I could probably find a slightly better deal if I shopped around, but I'd rather pay a bit extra and know the cigars arrive in good shape and that somebody cares if there's a hiccup. Little things matter — replies that don't take ages, follow-through, that sort of thing. If I had one wish it would be a few more promos now and then, but that's me being picky. Overall I'm grateful it works out so smoothly and I'm actually kind of relieved every time the box lands intact. Recommend to anyone who wants reliable service more than chasing bargains.
Kitchen-counter surprise
I messed up the billing vs shipping address thing. Emailed them an hour after ordering and they actually chased the package down when I upgraded shipping. I might've been curt with Natalie when she asked for another phone number (cell service acting up), which is on me, but she stayed calm, professional, and fixed everything. So service was solid.
Long story short: the product itself handled like you'd hope — good construction, enjoyable smoke, and packaging that protected them. It felt like buying from someone who cares a bit, not just a random warehouse. If you're on the fence about ordering cigars online from them, based on my experience I'd say go for it. So, yeah, I ordered this really awesome deluxe cigar bundle. But then, like, the customs in Italy messed everything up and sent it back. I tried to get a refund from the post office, but they were like, "nope, only the shipper can do that." So, I contacted Mike's Cigars a bunch of times to try and figure it out, but no dice. They just didn't seem to care, and it's been ages since then. It's so frustrating, they should be totally embarrassed.
Variety pack of cigars
I got this mix pack of cigars as a gift for my buddy, but I never ended up giving it to him. It's all still wrapped up nice and tight, so I thought about returning it. I tried hitting up the company three times to get the okay for the return, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. Not cool at all, very unprofessional.
Gurkha Cigars
There are no negatives here. I had a great online purchase experience. From the time I ordered my cigars and receive the package at home, I received four or five emails, giving me my order confirmation, my UPS tracking number, shipping updates, and delivery confirmation. I'm finding it difficult to find my favorite cigars elsewhere online, so I took a chance in spite of the bad reviews, and I loved it. I have smoked only one of the cigars, which was perfectly humidified, perfectly constructed and never had to relight. Some of my other online cigar stores over-humidify their cigars and they're almost unsmokable for months. These were inspected by me, found to be flawlessly packed, and placed immediately into my humidor. I can't wait to smoke cigar #2.
