That package sitting on my porch was the moment my hesitation turned into regret. I had already seen a few complaints about MMAOverload, but figured I’d take the chance because I wanted the American Fighter Serve and Protect long-sleeve for casual wear and the gym. What showed up was a flimsy short-sleeve shirt, not what I ordered and honestly not worth keeping. I tried email several times and called on different days, hoping to set up an exchange or return. Nothing, no reply, no person picking up. Maybe orders go smoothly when the item and size are right, but that doesn’t help when the store sends the wrong thing. I’m glad I learned this before placing a bigger order, though it was an annoying way to learn it. I wouldn’t buy here again.
The silence was the worst part
I was already a little cautious because I’ve had stock issues with other online stores before, but the hoodie showed as available when I ordered it on the 1st, so I went ahead and paid. Then two weeks passed with no package, no update, nothing. I finally emailed them, and only then was told it was out of stock. They offered a smaller size or a refund, which honestly made no sense—I ordered the size I needed for a reason. What bothered me most was that they never contacted me first. I had to chase the information down myself. I asked for the refund, waited again, and eventually had to open a PayPal dispute before the money came back. I can’t say anything about the hoodie itself since I never received it, but the whole process felt careless and unnecessarily frustrating.

Before I ordered, I hesitated because I hadn’t used MMA Overload before, but the site had the item listed and I figured a basic shirt order wouldn’t be complicated. That turned out to be optimistic. When it finally arrived, more than four weeks after I placed the order, the fit was off in several ways. The shoulders felt unusually tight, while the body was roughly five inches longer than similar shirts I own in the same size. I’d need to hem it to wear it normally. The graphics also looked faded right out of the plastic, which was pretty disappointing. The bigger headache was getting any information. I received no useful updates, tracking, or order confirmation beyond an invoice and the charge on my card. After waiting two weeks, then spending about another week and a half trying to reach customer service, I was told one item was on an indefinite backorder. That should have been communicated upfront. I canceled that item, but was still charged for it, and it hadn’t shown up even two and a half months later. I’d honestly suggest confirming stock before ordering anything.
